Mason was a very thorough & conscientious host. His place was exactly as advertised, he responded quickly & clearly to my queries, and he went beyond and provided an excellent guest guide, both online and in paper at his place. I would use any of Mason's rentals in the future, and highly recommend others do so too.
Our host, Mason was available during our entire stay. The listing is very accurate. The apartment was clean and well designed – and Mason, left us a guide of the neighborhood, along with a note and a bottle of wine upon our arrival. The building itself is also upscale with a very nice lobby and roof decks.
Because we are such active people, we didn’t spend much time inside. Let me just say, the neighborhood is phenomenal! There are several amazing restaurants on 14th such as, Kapnos (Greek – best I’ve had), Eatonville (soul food – try the catfish with Jalapeno and cheese grits), and Bus Boys and Poets (neighborhood favorite). We walked from Mason’s home to the White House and visited many of the key locations without use of the Metro.
On July 4th, it was not difficult to get into many of the bars and restaurants, although the neighborhood streets were packed with people. It was a lot of fun – and DC is now a favorite city of ours.
Thank you, Mason!
Space was exactly as described. Minor hiccup checking in but the issue was resolved very quickly. Really enjoyed the amenities especially the workout room and the rooftop area. Mason was very friendly and his place was clean as well as tastefully designed. The grocery store across the street was truly a gem. The location was extremely walkable and close to almost everything you would need on a vacation. Highly recommended!
We had an excellent stay at Mason's apartment. The apartment was exactly as pictured (gorgeous!) with great views of the city. Although we didn't meet him, Mason was very hospitable, leaving a nice note and some beer and wine to welcome us when we arrived, and he was very accessible if we needed anything. He also left some info including restaurant suggestions and other useful tidbits for getting around. His apartment is a few minutes' walk to the metro station with a ton of restaurants on his street. It was great to come home, after exploring all day, to such a nice place! I highly recommend staying here!
Mason was an absolutely excellent host, he was extremely responsive and provided me with all the information I needed to make everything from checking in to departing as easy as possible. The apartment itself is stunning, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The apartment is in a perfect location, easy walk to all the best spots in town. Mason goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a fantastic stay in DC.
Mason was a great host! He was on top of our arrival and was always a phone call away if we needed him. He had a booklet of recommended places in the neighborhood- and it was a great neighborhood! An eclectic mix of residential, dining, and bars means we didn't have to go far to find whatever we wanted.
The apartment itself was really nice- great views (we could see both the Washington Monument and the Capital Building) with access to the roof as a bonus. It was tastefully decorated and we even stayed in one night and made a pizza (and drank the wine he left for us). Would definitely stay again!
We had an excellent weekend in our nations capital! This chic apartment is in the heart of it all and Mason was an amazing host. Not only did he leave us a kind welcome note and bottle of wine/beer in the fridge, but Mason was easy to get a hold of and very helpful helping us with parking and answering all of our questions instantly. I look forward to staying at Masons again in the future and would recommend it to others without reservation.
