This is rare opportunity you stay in suburb house of Tokyo and get your photo shoot done. I am a professional and artistic photographer as well as owner of the house. (website hidden)
It is Niiza city near OIZUMIGAKUEN. SHARED HOUSE (Showa period) with garden. 40 min to IKEBUKURO door to door 50 min to SHINJUKU, and 1 hour to SHIBUYA. 1 hour to KICHIJOJI. Free wifi. free use kitchen, washing machine. Toilet, bath tab and shower room is shared and bath/shower room had heater in winter time.

The room has large terrace bright lit coming through 2 windows all day long.
Nearest station is OIZUMIGAKUEN and take bus to FUUCHICHIKU.
From the bus stop it will be 15 min to walk and 5 min by bicycle ride. 1 free bicycle
From Narita airport it takes about 2.5 hours door to door.
From Haneda airport it takes about 1.5 hours door to door.
If you have a big suitcase you should take taxi for the first day of your trip and it will take around 1200 yen to 1400 yen.
I can give you a map and direction once you make a reservation.
I can pick you up at the bus stop if you like it.
I have 1 free bicycle you can have a ride. It takes 5 min bicycle ride to my place from the FUUCHICHIKU bus station. There will be supermarket near by like 5 min. walk. It is called BELC and they have all kind of foods and open till midnight.
Very quiet neighbors. I used to live in NYC and speak English and explain about where to get around in Tokyo area.
There is famous temple called HEIRINJI like 20 min from my place.
This is a much better place to get a feel for Zen temples, and temple life, than you will find in the overcrowded tourist centers.
If you want to see hip and cultural Japanese side (town), I recommend to go to KICHIJOJI and take only one bus to go there from FUUCHICHIKU bus station and INOGASHIRA PARK is just one stop from KICHIJOHJI or you can walk there from KICHIJOJI.
If you need to go away to another part of Japan and need a place to leave your luggage, that will cost half price of your stay. It is €５/day
30,000 yen security deposit is require up to 2 weeks stay.
Check out 2PM.
Great time at Izumi's place. Quiet location, bus stop, convenience store nearby. A real japanese daylife experience. Thanks for all
Izumi was an awesome host! She was very helpful and her house was very comfortable to stay in! It was a few mins outside of Tokyo but easy enough to catch a bus or the metro! It was a nice quite community with friendly and helpful people everywhere! I would definitely stay here again!
Izumi is fantastic, she was extremely accommodating and very friendly. She is a great host. If you're looking for a real Japanese tatami experience, Izumi's is the place to go. Her house is close to a large grocery store and just a short bus ride from the train station.
Izumi even walked us to the bus stop and looked up directions for us. Thank you Izumi for making our stay wonderful.
We would definitely stay with Izumi again.
As it has already been said, Izumi is a great host. She is welcoming, gentle, intelligent, and makes you feel at home from the moment you step into her house. I really enjoyed the time I spent in her house and our conversations in the kitchen. The house itself is quite nice and in a very quiet and pleasant neighbourhood in the outskirts of Tokyo. If you need to be in the centre, this might not be the best place. But commuting to Tokyo is quiet easy and there are plenty of Express trains running from the nearest train station to Ikebukuro (around 20 minutes). Of course, most people living in that area actually work in Tokyo. As for the room, it is a very comfortable Japanese tatami room, with plenty of sun, air-con and a lot of space. Highly recommended for a comfortable and quiet stay very close to the city of Tokyo!
Izumi is great. She is very nice and fun to talk with and even more she speaks superb English. So if you are worried about language problems you will have no worries here.
Her house is a very traditional Japanese style house with tatami, huge open sliding windows and attractive bath area. Her house is also very near to a large supermarket. And the wireless internet connection is very fast.
You can enjoy a relaxing stay here and not be too far from central Tokyo areas.
Izumi was a great host and my stay with her was very pleasant. The house is in a nice, quite area. I highly recommend!
Staying with Izumi was great! She contributed to a wonderful trip. She was an incredible host that spoke very good English and was very helpful/kind. She loves to share her culture with anyone and she is very open minded/knowledgeable about a vast expanse of interesting topics. Her city is also a very nice place, quiet and unassuming. It stands in sharp contrast to the bright lights and bustle of Tokyo. It's a good place to go to rest..
Anyways, I strongly recommend her hostel to anyone!
