Stay in our home and experience the true soul of Copenhagen!
You will be staying in our light and spacious 3-room apartment which accommodates four. Two on the gigantic bed in the bedroom and two on a large mattress in the living room.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, and looks like one might expect from a couple of artists (a visual artist and music director), it features selected art pieces and a large record collection that you are welcome to enjoy.
The kitchen is fully equipped and you should feel free to use everything as much as you like (juicer, sodastream etc.). One of us is a coffee aficionado, and both of us enjoy green tea, so you'll find everything you need to make the best coffee or green tea of your life in our home.
The apartment has a restroom with a toilet, but for bathing need you will need to use the shared bathroom, one floor up (the bathroom is large and only a couple of seconds away).
The apartment is located in the heart of Nørrebro - the most vibrant area of Copenhagen.
Nørrebro has lots of great bars and restaurants, we've been living here for 20+ years and will be happy to provide tips and tricks on where to go for an authentic experience of Copenhagen
We had a wonderful stay at Karoline's cozy and lovely home with my partner. The apartment had a beautiful decor and it was very spacious and well-equipped with all the kitchen facilities one might need and a great record collection, etc. Even though the shower room was shared with the other neighbours, there were hardly any queues during our stay, so that wasn't a problem. Also doing laundry went very smoothly at her cousin's place the next door. Karoline's home was perfectly located at a peaceful inner yard in the middle of the vibrant Nørrebro buzz.
Even though we didn't have the chance to meet Karoline, she was very friendly and helpful during our correspondence leaving us clear directions how to pick up the keys and find her place. She had kindly left us some delicious rolls and breakfast to the fridge as well. We got many good tips for all the interesting spots in the neighbourhood from her, too. Especially the nearby Manfreds restaurant, Mikkeller's microbrew bar and Hansen's ice-cream shop were great.
Hence, the best part of our visit was strolling around the city by bike. Karoline had negotiated us a good deal for a rental from the neighbouring bike shop. She also left her own bike for us to lend, but unfortunately it was too big a size for us. Next time in Copenhagen we'll surely request for Karoline's place again.
