Marion was so lovely - she is a wonderful host and super friendly. She has a warm spirit and a cute home. Great find!
Marion is a gracious host, with a comfortable little room in a lovely house that's a nice walk away from the center of town. And she offered a very tasty breakfast in the morning to top it off. A fine place from which to explore Sonoma.
I had to schedule a last minute trip for a wedding, and was SO lucky to find this listing. Marion was an amazing host--super responsive via email/text, flexible with my check-in/check-out times, and very friendly!
The room and house are gorgeous! The bed is heavenly. If you're in the area and looking for accommodations, this is the place!
PS- Be sure to check out the fruit trees and vegetable garden in the backyard!
Marion was very accommodating to my boyfriend and I. We have a habit of letting our day trips turn into impromptu overnight stays. We were grateful Marion let us stay with her on short notice, despite her plans to go out to a concert that evening. The bed, as many other reviews mention, is out of this world comfortable. We didn't want to get out the next morning. Also, it was lovely chatting with Marion about her many hobbies/interests and collections she has displayed around her house. We would recommend this room and would consider staying here again during our next visit to Sonoma.
Wow! Marion made us feel so at home! Her home is lovely and full of memorabilia from her many, many travels. We loved talking with her over breakfast in the morning and champagne in the evening. She made us feel completely welcome to make tea, grab some yogurt from the fridge, listen to music, or whatever we wanted while visiting. She's a fascinating person and a wonderful host!
And the room is wonderful. It was warm and cozy and gave us two great nights of sleep.
This was my first airbnb experience, but I honestly can't imagine a better one.
Marion was stellar. My girlfriend and I felt immediately welcome. The house is very charming, and our room was clean and quite comfortable. Marion gave us some great recommendations on wineries to visit. Also, make sure you stay for breakfast, cause she can cook.
We had a nice and relaxing night. The bed is really comfortable. And our host Marion makes everything for us to fill comfortable, the breakfast was various, fresh and good! Marion gave us also nice tips to visit the Sonoma Valley.
