**This listing is for the entire two bedroom apartment which will be completely private**
***The last reservation (with Matthias) was cancelled due to emergency maintenance on the building. I immediately contacted Matthias to explain the situation. With his approval, I had my friend (another airbnb host) book him her entire condo in the French Quarter for the same rate. The cancellation was a very rare and isolated incident.***
My home is located in the historic Lower Garden District. The house was originally built in the 1850's and has been totally renovated.
The unit is very large with loft ceilings and beautiful architectural details.
There's a huge panasomic flatscreen tv with dvd player and xbox. Also, there's a large dvd collection and netflix streaming available for use. The apartment has a washer/dryer and a dishwasher too. Wifi is also provided. There is a fully stocked kitchen available as well.
The master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed and is located at the front of the house facing Jackson Avenue. At the back of the house, there is the second bedroom which has a full size bed. There is also a very comfortable couch in the living room. I provide clean towels and lines. There are also plenty of extra pillows and blankets.
My house is literally right off St. Charles Avenue and is perfectly located for all parades and festivals. The 91 bus and 15 bus stop right next to the house and will take you uptown and to the French Quarter. Also, the famous St. Charles Streetcar is only a one minute walk from the apartment. There's plenty of safe on-street parking in front of the house as well. You are walking distance from some of the best bars, restaurants, and shopping New Orleans has to offer!
Please be courteous to the neighbors and respectful to the unit. Absolutely no smoking inside.
Carrie Ann's apartment is beautiful, spacious, and at a very good location, at walking distance from the French quarter and close to the St. Charles Streetcar. I would recommend it to everyone! Thanks so much!
Carrie was a wonderful host. Everything was perfect. The location was great, especially with kids. The trolly runs right by her place so there is no need to drive. Plenty of local resturants to choose from and also a few resturant chains. It's even close to walmart just in case your forgot something for your trip. Would love to stay there again.
it was a great stay at the apt..a place like home! thanks Carrie Ann to offer that opportunity.
The apartment was beautiful and cozy, and in a great location for walking to Magazine St and a really short trolley ride from downtown/the french quarter. Really dig the big TV too!
Found this to be a charming, large, comfortable home in the Garden District, with many walkable sights and tastes nearby. The house is very spacious with two separate bedrooms and a very large kitchen and living room. Free access to wifi was a nice plus. I would definitely rent this home again on future visits!
The location is wonderful - on the street car line, close to the Garden District and wonderful little places to visit. I recommend walking over to Steins for lunch - a short walk and an unexpected benefit of the location.
The reservation was canceled 3 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
