Alaska-tough made yurt: the Alaska version of a traditional Mongolian nomadic home.
Yurt life is much more connected to nature than conventional accommodation; connect to your surroundings; the sky, trees and song birds thru the skydome.
If you need fancy accommodation, need to be catered to, if you do not enjoy the woods, do not stay here. If you want to experience rural Alaskan lifestyle, are independent, enjoy being immersed in nature, enjoy peace and quiet, you will love it here:)

Nice, affordable spot in Talkeetna! Wood stove needed frequent poking, warmed up space almost too much. Rustic feel, would recommend for price and proximity .

Definitely recommend; all the essentials are there. The freshly ground coffee and wood burning stove were great touches. The general/grocery store in Talkeetna is a little pricey as a heads up. Overall we loved staying there and Rachel was a great host !

Close to Talkeetna, but far away enough for the peace and quiet too. A great lil yurt to have a wonderfully peaceful break from life's day to day grind.

Rachel’s yurt is cozy and clean. It has great value and is a wonderful space to go to get away. Wood stove worked well and we were very cozy. Thanks Rachel!
