Many of our guests see the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary on a bay cruise or lesson with our family sailing club, Monterey Bay Sailing. Monterey has some of the best sailing conditions on the West coast. Monterey Bay Sailing sails every day. You can make a reservation any time between 10:30 AM and 6:15 PM. Our cruises leave from Old Fisherman's Wharf through the Monterey harbor. The sails go up as soon as you get past the breakwater. We sail along historic Cannery Row, past the kelp reefs with Sea Otters, California Sea Lions, and different species of marine birds. Your voyage continues towards Pacific Grove, Lovers Point, Point Pinos and tacks back to the harbor with the Pacific swell at our stern.

Reservations for sailing can be made by phone at (831) 372-SAIL (7245) or (URL HIDDEN)

We look forward to hosting you and sailing with you on the majestic Monterey Bay.

Charming cottage in a residential neighborhood. Very nicely appointed and beautifully decorated. Roomy bedrooms and very nice bath. Communication is excellent and the check in/check out is smooth and easy. Parking is plentiful and it is nicely located to anything you need in Seaside.

Our hosts were very nice, but I can't say we enjoyed our stay: the place smells of mold and needs to be thoroughly aired.

The owners are nice and the home very clean. However, it is nowhere near the sea or the beach. Just be careful with the catchy tittle on the listing, since the home is located in a town called Seaside. On another note, I think it is a little bit pricy for the location. The home and the town are definitely NOT upscale. This is more like a middle class town for a low budget trip. Also, beware that this is an owner's occupied home, and their belongings are everywhere, bathroom, closets, bedroom, kitchen, etc. You will have very little space to place your stuff.

Wonderful home, great location. Easy access to Hwy and beaches. Short drive to Monterey and the local sites. Carolyn & Dutch were extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

The location was simple and easy to find. We had parking on the street just steps from the entrance so unloading and loading our bags was a breeze. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed to make a pleasant stay. Carolyn was easy to get a hold of and gave clear and easy-to-follow instructions for entering the house. We had only a brief in-and-out overnight stay but it was exactly what we needed. We would book here again if we ever visit again. Thanks!

Carolyn and Dutchs place was great. It's close to all the sights we wanted to see around town.
