We strive to keep the pricing accessible and reasonable, especially in comparison for the size and for comparable accommodations in the neighborhood or nearby hotel rooms. :) As with hotels and other accommodations, pricing is seasonal so please note that the specific price for each date is shown on the calendar, which will also be quoted to you prior to booking. Please also note that the base price is shown on the desktop version of AirBnB but for some reason the AirBnB App does not show "from $225."

Have a wonderful day!
we had a wonderful stay at the yellow rowhouse behind the big maple tree on 7th ne ..... the hosts, jen and caryn, were great, the house was perfect for the four of us, and the near northeast location helped us see lots of sights around the mall and beyond .... i couldn't recommend this place more highly
Going to Washington DC? This is a great place to lodge. At least three markets, one barbecue place and a breakfast place all within a couple of blocks. Union Station only a seven block walk, with a coffee shop on the way. The house was very clean and quite comfortable. Caryn and Jen were excellent hosts and very helpful with all our needs. We would definitely recommend renting this house for your stay unless it's when we want to come back.
Caryn and Jen were fantastic hosts, very easy to deal with and friendly. The house is in a great location and super comfortable. Jen picked us up from Union station and drove us back to the house. She had also bought us milk, bread, juice and other supplies. Caryn and Jen go above what they need to do to make your stay comfortable.
The house is great - loss of space and very comfortable. The bath is sublime - just what you need to soak tired, sore feet after a day of walking around Washington's attractions.
this house was perfectly situated (close to Union Station in a very quiet and lovely neighbourhoud) for trips to all touristic sites and museums and restaurants of the city. The owners are lovely people and very engaged / eager to provide you with a good and facilitated stay in DC. The house was very well equiped and spacious. When I will visit DC another time I will not hesitate to contact Caryn and Jennifer.
Beautifully appointed house accessible to all sights in DC.
Owner is kind, attentive and extremely helpful.
I would rent the house again and again- it was so comfortable,
clean & had everything needed. Love the immense shower head
and skylights. I could go on & on using superlatives but will stop.
Safe, sound, secure. Detailed instructions.
This is a great rental. It's a few blocks walk to the Capitol and to other interesting places, such as the National Mall and Eastern Market, and it is very convenient to Union Station for Metro access. Very clean and well furnished, much larger than advertised, and the hosts are extremely helpful. Everything is as advertised: two large bedrooms, comfortably furnished; two and a half bathrooms, one of which is very large with the shower separate from the large tub; kitchen; sitting room; dining room; living room ((email hidden)); back patio. The hosts left us milk, bread, coffee, eggs and orange juice in the refrigerator! The price is fair, considering the size of the house, the amenities, the location, and the market rate for hotel rooms in DC (which, of course, do not offer kitchens or so much space). It worked out great for the three of us, including a 12-year old. We would stay here again. Hats off to the wonderful hosts!
Caryn and Jennifer were wonderful hosts with true Southern hospitality. They were attentive to our needs both before and after we arrived. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We were in DC attending a family wedding and their home was a perfect place to relax after busy days and evenings. The beautiful web pictures were surpassed by the reality and convenience of their lovely home. We have rented several other places in DC, but this was by far the best. It would be our first choice to stay at on future visits to DC and we will highly recommend it to others.
The perfect airbnb experience! Exceptional information provided by Caryn, excellent location (short walk to Union Station and lovely 20 minute walk to eastern end of the National Mall), well equipped and beautiful home and thoughtful tailored breakfast goods provided. This house is perfect for two couples - the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the hallway each with their own bathroom so great privacy. The house is on a very quiet street and the beds are very comfortable so we slept soundly. Highly recommended!
Southern Hospitality in DC!!
We were 2 adults and one tween.
I have to say that these two Southern sisters know how to make their guests entirely at home. From the numerous clear and helpful communications from Caryn, to the helpful, thorough manual and tour by Jennifer-the experience was great. And then there was the above and beyond gesture from Jen who shopped for us-so many details were thought of, so many details attended to.
We loved the quiet street and the fantastic Capital area. Don't be fooled by the modest exterior! The place was bright and cheery with many cool architectural features. The kitchen was fully equipped, (including spices, oil, any type of pan, baking supplies), the beds were comfy with very soft sheets and a zillion pillows, the towels are super fluffy and plentiful, the huge tub was amazing, both showers are big, the patio was lovely, there is a whole extra dining room that was not pictured: we took a chance and parked on the street & lucked out.
It was a wonderful respite after sight seeing. Internet and TV worked well. I would highly recommend!
Our car broke down the last day and although Jen had people coming she offered to let us stay late-which we did not need but it was very kind.
Corner market adequate for essentials, Harris Teeter was better for real grocery shopping.
My one caution to people with small kids: the TV is not secured-not a problem for us. Wonderful steep stairs may not be good for all abilities.
Thanks Caryn and Jen!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Washington D.C. and Caryn and Jenn were the quintessential hosts. From start to finish they went above and beyond the call of duty in seeing that our experience in their lovely home and our stay in D.C. was a positive one. Caryn's sister Jenn even met us at 2 a.m. (late flight) at the apartment to greet and orient us. She bought us staples to get us through the first couple of days (milk, eggs, coffee etc.) and offered to drive us to the closest grocery store if we wanted to do more shopping. Their home is very well appointed, nicely designed, and quite comfortable. The location, so close to Capitol Hill, couldn't have been better for our family to walk to all of the sights. I highly recommend this lovely home and its caring hosts to anyone wishing to have a home away from home while in D.C. It was also a welcomed relief for our twin 13 year old boys to come back to the flat, after a full day of sight seeing, and flop in front of their wide screen TV to watch the latest basketball game. Thank you Caryn and Jenn for having us in your great home. It was a pleasure to have met you.
