Alessandro's studio apartment was perfect for our few nights in Rome. The location is great, you can easily walk to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and Termini station. Due to the short distance from the apartment to the station, it is also very easy to get the metro to the Vatican, and to get to and from the airport. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay in Rome, and is very clean and comfortable, not to mention we felt very safe there too. We hope to return in the future and will be recommending this apartment to anyone and everyone!

Alessandro's place was perfect for us. He was not able to meet us at checkin but sent a friend and Massimo was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean upon our arrival. The bed is comfy which we appreciated after such long travel. It is a great location between the train station and the colosseum. We walked everywhere we went and felt safe. Enjoy staying here!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Alessandro's Monti apartment. Just as described, the apartment is cozy, clean, safe and convenient for a couple to spend a few days in Rome. Its location in the Monti area is very convenient and fun to explore. It is 15-20 min walk from the Termini train station which worked out great for us since we arrived by train from Florence and where we later walked back to catch a bus to the FCO airport. It's a 10 min walk to the Colosseum. It is also near the Cavour metro station (2 min walk) which we used for farther places like the Vatican city and the Testaccio neighborhood for our EatingItaly food tour. There are also plenty of local affordable restaurants in the Monti area where we had some very good lunches and dinners (Alessandro's recommended Taverna Romana was spot on). To top it off, we couldn't ask for better host than Alessandro. He was very nice, friendly and helpful with information to make our stay in Rome even more enjoyable. It was very nice of him to let us store our bags at his nearby business for a few hours on our last day in Rome while we strolled around the neighborhood before catching for our late afternoon flight.

Fantastic place close to the Coliseum, Foro and so many other sites. Train station is a few minutes away (walking) surrounded by little shops. Alessandro was very kind and received us on time at the flat - he even help us carry our bags :). He gave us a map with some restaurant suggestions. The apartment is as described and has everything you need. Grocery store is close by also. Definitely a place to come back!

Perfect apartment! The area is so wonderful, full of great bars, shops and restaurants. The colosseum is down the end of the street (maybe a 10 minute walk maximum.) The apartment itself is clean and exactly like the photos - beds are really comfortable too! We had a great stay and Alessandro even made the apartment ready so we could check in early! Perfect host! Would stay here again in a heartbeat :)

Really enjoyable stay here!! Communication was great and easy. We were initially worried about checking in as we had no internet, but he was just waiting right at the doorstep when we arrived. Apartment is extremely convenient, walkable to all of the sites, and near the metro when you're tired. Alessandro was extremely helpful with our queries, as it was our first time in Italy. It really made everything more comfortable and welcoming! The cafe/restaurants along the road opposite the apartment serve wonderful breakfast and food!

Alessandro User ProfileAlessandro is a superhost.

I am Alessandro, born in Rome and in love with my city... I am on call 24/7 and do my best to help people have the best experience possible during their stay. Archeology is my first passion, then food and good wine (my wife is a sommelier).
I think that living in Rome means… walking through the streets of history, where around every corner you come upon an architectural wonder, written about in history books, or a museum rich with original and important works of art – all objects of beauty that were created for your enjoyment by artists throughout more than two thousand years of history... discovering that, even during winter – when the entire peninsula is under snow, from the Alps to Sicily – you can enjoy sun-drenched spring-like days, guaranteed from the affectionate and protective embrace of the Abruzzo Apenines. Rome is the only city in Italy where the sun is always brilliant and the moderate temperatures never experience the constant struggle between christianity and paganism; to worship the beauty of the eighteenth century churches while bowing to the graces of the ancient temples. ... To stop in at the local shops and chat for a while with real Romans who can be sceptical, are often impatient, but underneath it all they’re big-hearted.
What I wanna say is that no one of my guests should come away from a visit to Rome, eternal city of history and art, without having relished the experience completely, in the best way possible, and with a full understanding of her finest characteristics…
