Spacious and basic studio unit with a fantastic view. Comfortably fits 2.
Staying in Manila for a few days? a week? a month? Why not rent out our furnished home :) My husband and I stayed here for almost a year until we decided to move into a unit closer to work.
This is a 36sqm studio unit. It's actually a corner unit with an unobstructed view of BGC (High Street-C5 side). A very quiet should we say 'neighborhood', this unit is perfect for a solo traveller but can comfortably fit 2 since it's furnished with a queen-sized bed.
It also has a kitchen that's especially helpful for long-term guests, allowing them to do a bit of cooking every now and then.
There are restaurants and malls nearby. A nice resto which would be 5-minutes away from the condominium is Malcolm's Deli. They serve good steaks and have good wine & cheeses. Just on that same block is Joey Pepperoni's and Mexicali. If you however would like to visit some shops, it's fairly easy to get a cab and in 5-10 minutes, you would be at the Bonifacio High Street strip or Serendra.
The condominium amenities:
- badminton court
- swimming pool
- jogging path / gazebo
- children's playground
- laundry shop (for a minimal fee, per kilo)
Do check out the unit's amenities too by clicking on the Amenities tab (right next to the Description tab) to ensure that what we have would suit your needs.
Concierge services are available at a minimal price. I'll list the included services in a short while. Please check on this post again.
Feel free to contact us for inquiries!
Located at the quiet and laid-back side of Bonifacio Global City, the unit is perfect for balikbayans or anyone traveling to the Philippines and wish to be close to the city. :)
The Fort Bus, Cabs, Jeepneys
We love this unit and we hope you will too even just for the duration of your stay. We hope you would treat it the same way you would your own home.
We definitely would appreciate guests:
...cleaning up after themselves.
...turning off the a/c & switching off lights/appliances (except the fridge, of course) prior to stepping out of the unit.
...ensuring faucets are not left dripping at any particular time.
Kai is very friendly and very responsive. She and her husband responded quickly and effectively to any issues I had. Her condo is within walking distance of everything in Bonifacio Global City. It feels very safe at night. The apartment block is full of residents from all over the world - they're very friendly and a gold mine of information!
The apartment was very spacious and cozy and everything you need is available too. The view is outstanding and facing the sunrise. The building feels very safe with courteous guards on duty everyday. Communication with Kai is very smooth and I had no problems at all. The description, instructions and the pictures in the listing is very accurate. Highly recommended. Thanks Kai!
We had a great time in Manila and staying at Kai's place. The location was great and very safe. The building staff is friendly and the building itself its pretty safe. The pool was nice and its open 24 hours. The location is walking distance to the market market! and the Fort which has good venues to eat and drink.
Be aware of the taxi's and the meter "issues". This was one of the major annoyances when visiting the sites in Manila.
Happy with the place. As advertised. In an upscale part of town. Modern Manila.
The flat has been great to stay at. There was plenty of space to put our luggage in the closet. The kitchen was simple but we found everything we needed. The view is awesome, the pool is really nice, security staff was very friendly and the builiding is located in a very nice and modern district. Two big malls, Bonifacio High Street and Market Market are in walking distance also.
Most important, communication was really good. We just had troubles once at check-in to receive the keys, but after one quick call we got everything.
A tip for others arriving by taxi: The taxi from the airport to the condo cost about 300 pesos. Don't forget to look out for the taxi driver to use the taximeter ;)
I am leaving this review on behalf of my guest. i did not stay there personally. kai's apartment is centrally-located in the hustle and bustle of a newly-developed area of the city. there are restaurants nearby, which is a big plus.
would have been much better if they had a tv in the apartment. when i travel, i don't watch a lot of tv. still, not having a tv can make it quite difficult to unwind at night. besides, it can be a little too quiet.
my guest also mentioned that he did not have hot water to use for the shower. i am pretty sure it's my guest's fault due to the language barrier. a suggestion would be to leave a note instructing future guests how the water heater works.
other than those things mentioned, kai was a very good host. my guest decided to shorten his trip and kai was a great help.
Hi Jojo, thank you for the kind words. I would agree that the language barrier was a bit of a challenge. Sorry to hear about the guest not being able to use the heater. There actually is a note right above the heater switch detailing the operating instructions. We'll definitely take your suggestion of adding a TV into consideration. Sincerely appreciate the constructive review of the unit and we'll definitely make the necessary improvements as we go along. Thanks!
It was the first time to try Airbnb with Kai's apartment and I was very happy with the accommodation. It's a standard room, great for transit situations and in a great location.
