Janeen is an excellent host, the apartment is spotless and the location fantastic.
Janeen was so kind to accept our very late request. We had a good room in a convenient location for one night. Janeen was so friendly and communicative. although we spent only one night and had a chance to talk a bit only in the morning, she was so keen to tell us about Australia and culture differences, to give some advices. I loved that she was smiling or laughing a lot:)
We were international medical students doing our rotation in Melbourne had difficulties looking for a short term lease. Janeen kindly helped us out and had housed us for the 6 weeks we were here.
Her place was really convenient and it was accessible to both trams & train stations easily. Shopping for groceries and nice cafes were in the vicinity.
Janeen is a wonderful individual who is so welcoming :) She made us feel at home instantly and we had the freedom of going on and about during our odd working hours.
Her two cats Maya and Saska are beautiful little princesses who are cute and welcoming to guests! They always greeted us after a long day at work which made us feel even more at home.
In a nutshell, a beautiful quaint place to stay with an awesome host!
Would pop by again if we are going to cross by this area again! :)
See you there then Janeen!
My stay at Janeen's was fabulous and extremely convenient. My room and the overall townhouse was nice, clean, comfortable, relaxing and quiet. Simply perfect really.
Thanks Janeen for helping us get settled in Melbourne! Great location and good value for our month long stay.
Thanks Janeen for providing a good space in a lovely location.
The bed was comfy, the weekend was quiet and the cats were very friendly.
All the best with your future endeavours.
First of all, Janeen is beautiful host, very helpful, nice to talk to and generous. She gave us feeling of home and plenty of good information.
The house is nice decorated, although it isn't big, but very light and comfortable. Location is also very convenient (5 minutes walk to train or tram station, from there just 20 minutes ride to CityCenter or 5 minutes on tram to Chapel Street).
Over all it was a great week, definitely recommended for first time Melbourne visitors!
We had a good time staying with Janeen and her purrfect cats in Armadale! The house is bright and light and airy, and our room was beautiful and comfortable. Janeen was a very gracious and generous hostess, sharing a bottle of wine with us a couple of times - and providing surprise birthday cake! - and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is good for travelling to the city, and Armadale itself is very nice.
Janeen is a very friendly, accommodating and well organised host. She has a very classy two storey-townhouse offering very comfortable accommodation with easy access to bathroom facilities. It is in a leafy and well established suburb and reasonably close to good public transport. Unrestricted street parking is generally available close to the house, and a permit can also be supplied if needed.
We very much enjoyed our week long stay and found it easy to come and go as it suited us.
Janeen's house was really a home away from home. We had all we needed to feel comfortable. The house is great, in a very nice area and with easy transport to the city center. Our room had a very good size and everything was ready to receive us. We loved it. Janeen is a great person, really generous and willing to help. If you are looking for a quiet nice place with easy access to the city, this is the ideal option.
