What an amazing host! Craig is a lovely guy, with whom the communication cannot be easier, and who is always ready to give you some tips and recommandation. We felt straight like at home. The room (and the house) is big, clean, confortable. Definitely the place to stay in Geelong!
We stayed with Craig for a quick stopover in Geelong on our way from Melbourne to Bells Beach, which his place was just perfect for! It is a very short drive to the centre of Geelong, and only took 20 minutes to get to Bells Beach in the morning. Craig was the perfect host; great communication, met us on arrival, and even left breakfast out for us knowing that we were planning on a 6am start! Awesome! :)
Craig was a very helpful host, easy to communicate with, the room was clean and comfortable, and the house conveniently located.
Arrived at South Geelong station and walked ten minutes across Moorabool Street, Geelong's main road to to Park Crescent and Craig's place. Some of my esarlier txts had gone astray but Craig's had not so I knew keys were waiting for me even though he was at work. Craig represented my options perfectly and I easily made myself at home. Later I chatted with Craig and his young flatmate as well and found them both to be amiable and considerate. I was visiting family for the Christmas so the situation couldn't have been better. It's an open house and the bed is comfortable and the location is close to shops, it's close to the Barwon River, the city is a couple of kilometers north,. It's close to transport and has a street view of the great Geelong Football club playing ground's. You can't go wrong with Cats, though Craig is a more a worldly individual and a kind host. I recommend anyone take advantage of his hospitality.
If you need accommodation in Geelong, I highly recommend staying with Craig. His house, a traditional Australian cottage, is conveniently located, spacious, and very clean. The guest bedroom is very pleasant, with a great bed. Craig is cheerful and easy-going; he genuinely loves people. He will do everything he can to accommodate you and facilitate your stay. Craig is much more than a host, he is a friend, and truly makes his home "your home".
Craig's a natural host. I had a really good stay, great location close to the city. Craig made everything really easy, I felt totally welcome and the house was clean and really comfy.
Craig was a great host! He knows his town, and most importantly gives great advice on where to go for breakfast!
I'm an easy going fella who loves to travel and get out and about on my bike(Casual river rides..NO lycra LOL) when the weather permits. I work as a trainer and a Event coordinator..Just love meeting people and chatting over a glass of wine..
