Rosa's apartment is the best situated B&B we've ever been to. Bearing this in mind, we were also pleasantly surprised by how nice, spacious and modern the apartment is inside. Absolutely the best base from which to explore Bologna, and Rosa was super helpful before and during our stay! Thanks!
My boyfriend and I just stayed at Rosa's apartment for two nights--and it was perfect. The apartment is so centrally located and features a balcony with a wonderful view. Rosa was waiting at the apartment for us when we got to Bologna after a long journey from Canada--which was much appreciated. Would definitely highly recommend!
Rosa was welcoming, and is obviously a very meticulous person. The apartment was very well appointed and equipped, everything well laid out and if you ever felt the need for anything, you simply needed to look in the obvious place and you would find it. There were some very interesting books e.g. one on regional food which really stretched my Italian, and the box of pamphlets "Discovering Bologna" (in English, French and German) which provided much very useful and interesting information on the city. Rosa has a manual with all sorts of useful information about the apartment etc. The apartment is well located on a main shopping street in the centre of town but despite this was very quiet. It's an easy walk to the train station for side trips to Parma, Ravenna, Ferrara etc. When we left, we decided that it would be more trouble to catch a taxi or bus an so we walked, dragging our suitcases, despite being in our 60's. It was easy to walk out at any hour and explore the distinctive Bolognese streets. As it was hot and humid, it was pleasant to have air conditioning in the living room. We really appreciated the lift. Our one query was answered very promptly by Rosa in person.
Being exceptionally picky, my husband is tall and there were all sorts of no doubt useful stuff in draws etc under the table which meant that he needed to be careful with his legs. While we were on vacation and it didn't impact on us, be aware that there are limits on how many major appliances you can use at once.
We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.
My sister and I loved this apartment. It was very close to the train station so we didn't need to take a bus. There are a lot of wonderful restaurants nearby along with cute shops. Rosa was very nice and made us feel welcome. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone.
Our arrival time changed a couple of times and we arrived a little early surprising Rosa as she was still cleaning... of course that did not bother us and Rosa took it in stride. She was very welcoming and showed us around the apt explaining all the details. Although we did not need guidance around the city since we libed in bologna previously Rosa is well prepared to meet all needs and has a promoninent file of materials to help out. WiFi is available as well as a fully equipped kitchen and clothes washer. Small TV but you should be out visiting the city. And a pleasant little balcony with table and chairs where we ate in the fresh air... my son loved aitting out there to read. Bedroom has plenty of storage space and a comfortable bed... always welcomed when one travels. Nice bathroom with shower and plenty of tp if you need it... our last place we rented had none. Overall the apt is great, perfect location on main artery but very quiet because it is situated internally. Rosa was very welcoming and helpful. I plan to retun in the fall for a longer period and the only reason i would not recommend the place is because i wouldn't want anyone to book it ahead of me. Do not hesitate with this apt, it's great.
We recently stayed in Rosa's apartment in Bologna, and we were delighted with the level of comfort and the location of the apartment. We were greeted by Rosa and provided with a full explanation of how everything works, and everything in the apartment was exactly as described in the listing together with all the little things that are needed like salt, shampoo, ironing board and iron. We would happily recommend Rosa and her apartment as the ideal place to stay in this very beautiful city.
Excellent location. Apartment was very clean and went beyond expectations. Rosa was very helpful and went out of her way to find me a cooking class.
