The Colonna House in the heart of Campo de fiori, is located 300 meters from Piazza Navona and 300 meters from Piazza Venezia in the historic Ward Field of Mars. Lovely apartment with private entrance and beautiful gardens, is located in one of the most characteristic streets of Rome. Recently renovated, it has in kitchenette, bathroom and a common area of over 20 square meters. Very close to Piazza Di Spagna, to Ara pacis and Piazza del Popolo allows you to walk through the old Roman shops, the best restaurants in the city, and finally one of the most famous shopping streets.
From Termini Station is situated along the beautiful Via Nazionale, which takes only a few minutes to Piazza Venezia, or when using the metro B and get off at Colosseo.

Gianluca was a very welcoming host. The location of the space is absolutely amazing. You are surrounded by great food, great fountains and within walking distance to everything. The space is definitely not as bright, or clean, as the pictures suggest it is. Additionally, the bikes are in poor condition making them challenging to ride even for a person that cycles everyday. fixing the fan would greatly contribute to better air flow.
Place was tiny, but perfect for our needs. Walking distance from everything. Clean and cozy, would definately stay here again.
Excellent location in the heart of rome. I was so surprised at how close to the colosseum/forum/pantheon it is. Great food tucked away near by in the alleys, and amazing gelato right next door. The apartment was clean, safe and included two bikes (I will admit we were turned off by roman traffic so we skipped the leisurely bike ride)
The couch folds out, so perhaps another two people could fit there. Perfect size for both of us in the loft bed.
Very easy to get to from the train station by taking bus 64. Be warned, the bus fills up fast and is VERY crowded, a taxi is around 13 euros.
There's a small fee (2 euros) required by the city for renters, well worth the price- looking forward to our next stay.
Gianluca meeted us at the flat and allowed us to leave our luggage before check In which was fantastic. Flat was in an awesome position. Yes there is a musty smell but not because the flat was unclean. Great base to explore Rome. Thanks Gianluca
The apartment was very nice. I was happy with the place. The only thing was he was there 15 minutes before checkout expecting me to leave because he had promised the apartment to someone else right at 11. This was unacceptable as we were rushed and I would think he would've wanted more time to straighten up before the next guests arrived.
Don't stay here! The amenities are far worse in real life than described. 1. The washing machine that is advertised (which we had counted on using) is broken. 2. To take a shower you have to pre-heat the water for 30 minutes and it only lasts for one person (only 3/4 of a person fits in the shower). 3. The toilet REEKS and is completely rusted in the bottom. 4. The 'loft bed' is nearly impossible to not injure yourself unless you are less than 5'5" tall. 5. HUMID! You will sweat through the night.
Only positives were the location and owner was very nice. However, when we return to Rome in the future, we will be staying elsewhere.
