I enjoyed my stay in Claude's flat. The neighborhood is lively and nice, if you want to experience Paris you'll have to stay here ! The place is big enough for two, clean and cosy. Although Claude was not there, his friend Marthe took good care of me. Claude is also very thoughtful on how to get to his apartment etc. His instructions were very helpful. Thanks Claude!
I stayed at Claude's flat for about three weeks. It is just as described. Close to everything, even by walking. I bought a carnet of metro tickets and still have 4 left, I walked almost everywhere. When I first walked in, the space felt quite tiny, but after 3 weeks, it feels just right.
The toilet and shower room is quite small, and I am quite tall, so if you are coming with a friend, make sure you are both short legged, or comfortable going with the door to the toilet open. There is plenty of hot water for showers and dishwashing. The washer/dryer works quite well, and there are excellent directions in English, just in case you haven't used one before. The most comfortable bed is the loft, but if you don't want to climb, there is a pull out sofa/futon. I chose to climb to comfort.
Claude is a wonderful host, very focused on providing a good experience for his guests. He gave me a wonderful little tour of the Vanves Flea Market, and was quite knowledgeable about where the best deals were, and who had good merchandise. He also responds quickly and thoroughly to any issues that may arise.
The flat felt quite safe and secure. There is a coded entryway, and a second security door. Also, even-though the flat is only one flight of stairs up, there is an elevator. It is tiny, but certainly modern and useful.
There are at least four grocery stores close by, and two lovely bakeries, just go down Rue St. Martin. I had a great experience. Thank you Claude!
Wouah !!! Dear Trina !!! What a wonderfull reference you wrote about your stay and about me...i am very very happy to had such a person like you...i really wish you all the really best for all your life and continuation of your involvments everywhere you will be.
Thank you a lot and best regards to you !!!
It was a very nice stay in Paris. Especially because the appartment of Claude was really in the middle of Paris close to all beautifull sighting and musea. The appartment is nice but the toilet and shower are not made for large people. Claude is a really nice and helpfull host and I really enjoyed my stay.
This apartment proved a great choice for a late fall weekend in Paris. Claude was very welcoming and took plenty of time to tell us about sites and restaurants that could be of interest. The furnishings in the apartment were simple but adequate, and everything was very clean. One small warning: the bathroom is extremely small. This location is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues, even minor ones. But don't let that scare you away -- that's simply part of the Parisian adventure! A+++ would stay here again, especially with the excellent location and price.
Everything was great, thank you Claude! Monica and Lucia, told me that everything was great, clean . the appartment is near from everywhere that they want to visit (restaurants, stores, cafés, museums) everything that you will love to visit! =)
Thank you for all Claude, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
My wife and I stayed at Claude's rental studio for a week, and it was a very convenient accommodation for us. The place was as described, had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, and Claude himself was extremely helpful in all aspects. The location was perfect and made us feel like we are a part of the Parisian neighborhood, rather than feeling like tourists in a hotel. There are stores, supermarkets, bakeries, and cafes all around this location, so any basic needs can very easily be taken care of. Claude shared a lot of valuable information and advice on how to make the most of our trip. These are exactly the reasons why I think anybody wanting to experience Paris would benefit a great deal from staying at Claude's studio.
Wouah!!!!!Thank you dear Hicham for such complements you wrote bout your stay !!!!!!I feel so happy meeting yiu anbd spending time with you and your lovely and so gentle wife . For sure if you come again to Paris, just let us meet again..;and let us spend more time to enjoy places in Paris .
MERCI BEAUCOOOOOUUUUP !!!!!
I stayed in this flat for a month and found it very conveniently located, safe, and stocked with the essentials. The flat is nicely organized and Claude was a great host.
My girlfriend and I found Claude's apartment very suitable for our needs. Firstly, Claude was very very welcoming and helpful. We had all we needed in the flat really and it was in a great location. For a short trip to Paris it is pretty good.
It's not the most luxurious and the bathroom is the smallest I have ever been in (!) but it was clean and provided a great space to base yourself. Recommended for 2-3 day stay in central Paris!
This was my first visit to Paris and my first airbnb stay. Claude's flat is small and compact, but that was perfect for me. He provides everything you would need to do a little cooking. It's a few blocks from the Metro station. I was traveling alone, so returning at night made me a little uncomfortable, but I didn't have any problems. There is a security system that made me feel safe. If you have any mobility problems, you might need to stay elsewhere, but it was fine for me.
