Appartement qui correspond à l'annonce et aux commentaires. Claude est prévenant et disponible. L'appartement est petit mais tout à fait fonctionnel. Le seul bémol est, à mon goût, la faible isolation phonique par rapport à la rue de Turbigo.
Merci, Claude !
We met Claude when arriving to his studio. He was very kind and explained everything we needed to know very well.
The studio was fine and well equipped. We never cooked but he had everything for it.
The bathroom is very very tiny and the shower is not for big people, so if you are big keep that in mind.
The upper bed was great and very comfy but the double lower one was very hard.
The studio is very well located and three blocks away from the metro station so that's a good thing because Paris is a huge city and is better to move by public transport.
The apartment is exactly as described and very homely and well kept and stocked and clean and easy to keep clean , Claude is a lovely man and very helpful and has left a very clear map detailing banks and supermarkets and a couple of guide books neatly marked out for newcomers to Paris , and the location is fantastic for getting around and I would recommend using Arts Et Metiers metro at least once as its not a typical Parisian metro. I will mention the bathroom it is small but perfectly usable be warned though the water is very hot , I highly recommend this apartment and should I return I will definitely try and use Claude's apartment again. Thank you very much Claude , I had a fantastic stay.
The absolutely best thing about Claude's apartment is the location, only 7 minutes from the Centre Pompidou, for instance. The apartment is small but spacey enough (I've slept in hotel rooms one fourth of this size). Even the toilet and especially the shower are small, so be prepared. It's on the first floor facing the street, but - in case you're a light sleeper - earplugs solve that problem. And Claude is extremely helpful host.
1)The apartment was exactly as described.
2) It is tiny(could be around 300 sq feet) but just fine for 2 people. You will be out the whole day anyway.
3) It is 5 min walk from the train stations and
3a)close to restaurants, grocery store(5mins) , 20 min walk to Notre Dame , Louvre Museum , point neuf,
4)The apartment is in a very safe, good location.
6) To really enjoy the city, you must walk, walk, walk...
Claude was nothing but an awesome host. I was traveling to Paris alone with my 5 year old kid and he helped us a lot. If I had a question, I would send him an email or text ; he would respond immediately. Even before I started my trip, he was quick to answer any questions regarding not just the apartment, but other things in general. He recommended places to see and awesome French restaurants. Such a nice guy!!!
I would definitely recommend this apartment.
Claude is a very nice host and the location of his apartment is really good - close to metro and train stations and to shops and grocery stores. We really enjoyed our stay in Paris and would recommend Claude as a host.
The location of this apartment is wonderful. There were plenty of shops, bakeries, and grocery stores nearby. We walked all around Paris, and had a chance to see almost everything by foot. Claude was a fantastic host. Our camera had died the day before we got to Paris, and he helped us find an electronics store, and gave us a lot of restaurant and sightseeing suggestions, which were all great. The apartment itself was immaculate, but also felt like home.
Claude is a very nice and enthusiastic host. He goes out of his way to make sure everything in his apartment suits your needs. He's always available if you need him but is also very respectful of your privacy. He gave me great recommendations on where to eat and to go for some authentic parisian experience. Regarding the apartment, everything is as pictured and described. It's small but very cozy and just feels like home. It's well situated and near 3 metro stations which makes practically any point in paris within 15 minutes away, max. It's also near the city center so you can just walk from the apartment to wherever you want to go (I did that everyday!) I will definitely book his apartment again when I go back to Paris. Thank you very much Claude! Im sorry I forgot to turn off the lights twice! Haha. See you again soon!:)
Claude's apartment is very central and very close to all attractions and necessities, many good shops, bars and restaurants, Metro stations veey close, the apartment is small but with everything you need, quite comfortable. Claude himself is very welcoming and full of information, for 1 person or a couple this would be a great apartment, maybe not suitable for a couple of friends as not much privacy, overall a very good experience
We really enjoyed our stay in Claude's appartement. Claude is a lovely host and he gave as loads of useful information about what to see and where to go to get the real Franch experience. The apartement is located in a really convenient location, near to everywhere. Flat is not the biggest one but still confortable, well-equipped and clean. For my next weekend trip to Paris I would love to stay here again.
