  • Florence is a stunning cultural adventure, one of the most intense aesthetic experiences on the planet. And there's only one way to enjoy it - stay at Sabina's downtown garden loft apartment. It is a total oasis of calm and magical peace. The perfect place. The apartment is a wonderful, eclectic mix of comfy sofas, huge double height windows looking out on to a superb garden, fun chairs, large dining table, well appointed kitchen and a really fun mezzanine style bedroom - complete with open-plan bathroom. The centre of Florence with all it's churches, galleries and shops is just 10 to 15 minutes walk away. The River Arno is 10 minutes away and from there you can walk straight to the Ponte Vecchio. The train station is 10 minutes away. Once inside the apartment it's the peace, the beautiful garden and the privacy that makes it the perfect holiday home. You may find places closer to the centre of Florence but I can guarantee none will be as relaxing or as enjoyable as Sabina's, who was wonderfully welcoming and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. This place is a gem. Don't miss it.

  • An amazing loft apartment, in a fantastically convenient location. An unassuming oasis in the busy city. It had everything we could ever need for an easy wonderful time in Florence. The apartment was close to the main train station - about a 5 minute walk at most - and downtown Florence about a 5-7 minute walk away.

The kitchen had every item needed for a lovely quiet night and the views from every window were just beautiful. It provided us precious moments of peace and serenity. Sabina was in contact with us for any issues and was always available but unobtrusive. Much appreciated! We loved the location within the grounds with the view from the back door was especially lovely.

We would definitely stay again! Highly highly recommended.

  • This place must be one of the best kept secrets in Florence. Located just on the edge of the city's historical centre (a 5 minute walk from the Basilica Santa Maria Novella), the loft is hidden away in one of Florence's secret private gardens owned by Sabina's family whose lineage go all the way back to the 1100s. The loft is a converted winter storage area for the many lemon trees on the property and oozes charm and history. The place is big, cosy, clean and you feel home straight away. Sabina is a fantastic host.

  • Lovely host and house! We would love to stay here again.

  • The house is just like on the pictures - light and clean. But the most amazing thing is the a huge garden, which is by the way also a historical place. We didn't expect to find anything like that and were pleasantly surprised.
Sabina is nice and helpful host and I would recommend the property as a place to stay if you are visiting Florence and also as a reason to visit Florence if you were not planing to.

  • To say that Sabina's garden loft apartment is amazing ... is definitely selling it short!
If your idea of a great holiday experience is to wake up in a soul-less hotel room, then have to remind yourself which country you are in, dash off to the hotel gym/pool and grab a quick shower - then this apartment is not for you.
Instead, stay here, stop in the garden and smell the roses (and the sage plus other fragrant herbs etc), spot a turtle, sip a wine. Enjoy the ambiance of this character-filled and charmingly decorated home steeped in the history of one of Florence's earliest families.
Sabina is a generous and genial host who is available if needed, but who does not intrude.
You will not be disappointed if you choose this apartment. Book now!

  • Sabina's "apartment" - more like a beautiful small house and garden - was a dream place to stay. I would highly recommend it to friends and family and wouldn't think of staying any other place when we return to Florence. In fact, if it was booked I'd move my trip before I'd settle on another place! Sabina herself was wonderful to work with and very helpful with our questions.

We have no negatives and our positives are too numerous to write, but in addition to the house being lovely, it is also very convenient to all the major sites. We literally walked everywhere. We couldn't be more happy with our stay.

Thanks Sabina! We hope we meet again.

  • The garden loft appartement was a great place to stay. Only a 10 minut walk to get to ponte vecchio, but in the appartement and especially the garden it felt like being far out of the crowded city. For us this was the perfect combination visiting Florence. We would definitely recommand the appartement!

  • Staying at Sabina's place was amazing. This apartment is in a truly massive private garden in the middle of Florence. Sabina is an informative and helpful host and the apartment itself is spacious and very comfortable. It is only a short walk to the main part of town, but when you are in the apartment looking out over the garden, you could be in the middle of the country. It has been one of the most unique experiences of our trip and made our stay in Florence very memorable. I would recommend this without hesitation.

  • Thank you Sabina for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment! It helped make our stay in Florence so special. It felt so authentically Tuscan (well, to two Londoners anyway) and Sabina’s restaurant recommendations were spot on! This was our first time using AirBnb and Sabina made it all very easy and stress free. They have a wonderful fox terrier, Punta, who kept us company while we relaxed in the beautiful gardens. The apartment was clean, comfortable and close to the historic centre. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Florence.
