My boyfriend and I completely fell in love with Sabina's Garden Loft and surrounding gardens! We arrived to Florence on my birthday and as I walked around gardens attached to her loft.. my eyes filled with happy tears... It was breathtaking. Sabina was a very nice hostess and her family history is wonderful. A very special place to stay. It was an honor. We LOVED being able to take in the beautiful city of Florence and then within the city walls... hide away in our secret garden loft behind the walls! We HIGHLY recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed. AMAZING!!!!!!

My husband and I stayed for three nights at the end of our trip in Florence. Sabina made us feel welcome right away and gave us a bottle of wine from their vineyard. This really was a magical place. I didn’t want to leave! Their garden is amazing and we enjoyed relaxing there with our coffee or wine. We stayed in one night to make our own dinner in the full kitchen. I would definitely like to stay again the next time we are in Florence.
What can I say that I didn't say before (this is our 3rd stay there). Sabina's place is magical and you're a fool if you pick another location...just make sure you don't try to book when I'm planning my return visit...or we'll have words.
In all seriousness, Sabina is a wonderful host with a magnificent property. It just so happens to be in the middle of everything, but as soon as you walk in the door, you completely forget you're in one of Italy's main cities.
You are going to absolutely love your stay at the Garden Loft Apartment.
This was our first experience with airbnb and will be a hard act to follow. The apartment is gorgeous: elegant and spacious, but also cosy and homely. It is set in a wonderful garden, where tortoises amble among the gardenias and fireflies twinkle after sundown, all hidden away from the sounds of the city behind a high wall. Sabina was a gracious and friendly host, on hand if needed but wholly unobtrusive, and had thoughtfully provided comprehensive tips for the best places to eat and shop in Florence - plus a bottle of delicious wine from the family estate. All in all, a real treat.
We had an incredible time at Sabina's apartment, it was the first mini break with my partner and we couldn't have stayed anywhere more romantic. Sabina was very welcoming and understanding despite our flight getting in later as planned (meaning she missed dinner plans :(), and the information she left for our stay was thorough and very useful. I cannot describe how beautiful the private garden was and the whole place felt like a little haven for us to escape the city. Already talking about returning in the future and have literally told all of our friends planning to visit Florence to book here!! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home Sabina xx
Sabina was waiting outside the apartment when we arrived. She was very welcoming and left a bottle of wine from her family's vineyard and cheese and crackers for us to enjoy. The apartment is very charming and the garden is amazingly beautiful! There was an annual artisan's fair in the garden during our stay which actually added to our enjoyment! My daughter and I felt like we were experiencing a bit of the real Florence while staying at this apartment. Sabina was a great host we would stay here again. She left good recommendations and we could contact her when we needed something. We also loved the neighborhood! We were so glad to be away from the crowded area of the Duomo, and yet it was very easy to walk to the main tourist sites! We had a wonderful time at Sabina's apartment!
We were immediately made to feel very welcome by Sabina - who gave us a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. The apartment is simply stunning - it is much bigger than we thought it would be and being able to enjoy breakfast, or just a glass of wine or coffee, in the garden was an absolute delight. It is a short walk to the City centre which was great. This is something very special and unique for airbnb - full of character.
