Leonora was fantastic - you'd be hard-pressed to find a friendlier, more accommodating host - just what you need in a large city.
As a first time visitor to Mexico, it was fantastic waking up to Leonora's delicious breakfast spreads which included nice bread, sliced melon and cactus, yoghurt and granola, local cheese, and on one morning, freshly made corn husk tamales. Also during my 5-day stay I have to say I was never short of bottled water, coffee or great travel advice.
Coyoacan is a great area to be based in, and this was simply one of the best b'n'bs I've ever stayed in.
If I was back in Mexico City, I would definitely think about staying at La Casa de Todos again.

About the Host, Leonora
I've lived in Mexico City for twenty-five years and love receiving visitors and guiding them to have a pleasurable and fulfilling experience in the D.F. (the Federal District).
After working in English Language Teaching (publishing and giving classes) for many years, I'm always ready to have a lively discussion about language learning, or any other subject for that matter. I read a lot (especially historical novels and any books by Paul Auster or Murakami), and try to keep up with US and Mexican politics (I listen to NPR regularly and watch CNN).
As an avid practitioner of yoga and a yoga dance instructor, I'm always happy to have someone new to join me in one of my classes (and the level of yoga in Coyoacan is excellent). In fact, one of the best ways to pick up some more Spanish is by going to a class!
I'm extremely interested in holistic health practices and love all the alternative options in Mexico. I had considered going back to the US on a few occasions but finally realized I had too good of a life here to leave.
Working freelance as a writer/editor, taking wonderful dance classes, swimming a few times a week at the gym, going to yoga and traveling keeps me busy and happy.
BTW, my favorite language is Spanglish, and it's what I speak the best!
I feel extremely blessed to have so many interests, and to have gotten to a point in my life where I can be my authentic self, live in the present moment, feel free, and totally enjoy life!
