Recomiendo totalmente a tee, la casa estaba en impecables condiciones y su antencion fue inmejorable!!!
A great place in Bed-Stuy, not too far from some cool spots in Brooklyn
We spent a week at Tee's house and it was an amazing experience. Tee is sweetest than we could ever imagine. And she was always there to help us with any problem, when we arrived, she noticed that directv wasn't working and she stayed there till it was resolved. The house is exactly as in the pictures and it is really cozy. The best part of renting a house is that you can bring food home and cook it. The subway is really close. It's about 7-10 minutes of walking. And there are Deli's and restaurants all the way to the metro. When we get back to New York, Tee and Yolanda will be our first option. We're a family of 4 people and the house was really comfortable for us. Tee makes you feel like home. It's really amazing to find people like her.
We can not recommend Brownstone Beauty on the Greene highly enough. The flat is clean and exactly as shown in the pics. The location is totally Brooklyn and functionally easy with a bodega on the corner, various eating spots around the neighborhood and a short walk to the train which will get you anywhere you need to go in NYC and beyond.
But what really made our stay exceptional was our hosts, Tee and Yolanda. From the warm welcome when we first rolled up to mailing us something we left behind after our send off, they had us covered. Tips and an in depth history of the neighborhood, advice on the City in general and great front stoop convo - we really hit it off and can't wait to come back and visit. This is what sets AirBnB apart from a stay in a hotel: meeting great people and feeling like you are welcome guests.
Great hosts and great place to stay. If you want to enjoy NYC Tee and Yolanda should be one of your options. The unit is clean and enough for 4 people. All the apartment is recently renew.
There is a 30/40 min ride to Manhattan midtown between walking and metro and you have some supermarkets close to buy food.
The hosts are in the same building, so they can help you in whatever you need.
If we come back to NYC, this apartment will be our first option
I've just come back from a 10night stay at Tee & Yolanda's apartment.
The apartment was great, really spacious and exactly as advertised in the photos. There's a shop just on the corner of the road and a supermarket only 5minutes walk away.
We were late arriving but Tee stayed up to show us in and around the place. They checked in with us every now and again to make sure we were as comfortable as possible.
One of the days my friend locked herself out of the building but the neighbours were really friendly and helped her get in contact with Yolanda.
The area is nice, and only 10minutes walk from the local subway to go into the city. It cost us only $30 for a taxi into midtown.
We didn't see Tee & Yolanda on our departure but they left us a note explaining what to do with the keys and things.
Overall it was a great stay and if I ever save up the money to go again I'd definitely contact Tee for a place to stay!
Tee and Yolanda have done a fantastic job of providing a great place to stay while in Brooklyn. Whilst it had everything we needed it was probably a bit small for a family of 4 but we did manage. Utilising the subway system was the best way to get into the city on the J line, note though that you need to walk about 10/15 mins to the subway station and although we had no negative experiences I would not have felt safe walking this at night, we subwayed to the main Downtown Brooklyn area then caught a cab to the apartment. Make sure you call the local/Brooklyn cab's as the yellow ones from Manhattan will not stop to pick u up in Brooklyn. A metro card is needed for trains and buses and you can only seem to buy these from subway stations so probably try and do this as soon as you arrive somewhere. Around $22 was enough and we travelled into the city on several occasions. I bet if you asked real nice Tee and Yolanda would have a metro card waiting for you if you paid them on arrival. Speaking of Tee and Yolanda, I did not get to meet Tee but my husband did and I met Yolanda both were extremely helpful and happy to answer any questions or assist with information when needed, we could not have asked for better hosts and I hope the laws do get changed to enable the NY hosts of Airbnb to continue to provide these homes away from home.

We had a great time in Tees appartment. The appartment was very nice and exactly as described and shown on the pictures,
The hosts gave us a very warm welcome.
Gone for 2 weeks in New York, we visited the most New York and its many neighborhoods. In New York, he must have eyes everywhere... top bottom left right! Each district, each block to his particular style, we can pass a ultra modern style to a style older, or else even more amazing find a chapel between two buildings... extra! Here are some ideas for your stay: the empire State Building (evening), top of the rock (day), the bridge of Brooklyn (at sunset), natural history museum, the statue of liberty, Ground zero, Century 21 (for shopping), central park (day rest and picnic), Cosney Island «(le parc d'attraction), the District of Soho, Greenvillage, Time Square, Long Island.Harlem... And so on! That new Yorkers say, these are welcoming and warm, people always help us in case of need. We have stayed during our two weeks in the District of Stuyvesant in Brooklyn and spent a very good time. Also the access to the underground are very simple the closer to +/-10 min and the other + -/ 15-20 minutes. I wanted to thank Tee and his girlfriend for their hospitality and kindness, and I will come back with great pleasure in a few years (give a few pennies aside for shopping). Thanks much Tee
See you later
