Bienvenidos!
Welcome to your home away from home!

'La casa de todos' has five rustic, elegant and cozy rooms: 'habitaciones: dalia, bugambilia, jacaranda, alcatraz & girasol', each with a Mexican flower theme and an original watercolor.
Four of the rooms are located in the Garden Annex, a separate building from 'la casa', and all five rooms face 'el jardin', an intimate, interior garden.
There is a separate, private entrance from the street with direct access to all rooms.

We are located in the charming colonial area of Coyoacan.
Guests can walk to historic sites such as:
- Frida Kahlo Museum
- Trotsky Museum
- 'Fonoteca Nacional' in the former home of Octavio Paz
- 'Museo de artes populares'
- 'Mercado Coyoacan' - the market in the center of town

There's excellent public transportation to downtown Mexico City and surrounding area, both by Metro, Metrobus and regular buses. Guests will feel totally comfortable in the bilingual/bicultural setting and will be able to enjoy original Mexican artwork throughout 'La casa'.

We look forward to your visit - tu casa es mi casa!

My parents stayed at Leonora's place for a couple of days and they really enjoyed it a lot. They would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to go there again. Thanks!

Lovely room and house, great location close to the centre of Coyoacan. Leonora was a great host, was lovely to meet her and enjoy her great hospitality and brilliant breakfasts. Would definitely recommend Casa de Todos to anyone wanting to stay in Mexico City. Thanks!

Room and breakfast were adequate. Decent proximity to sites of interest in Coayacan - Viveros, Plaza Sta Caterina, Frida's home and the Zocalo.

I've lived in Mexico City for twenty-five years and love receiving visitors and guiding them to have a pleasurable and fulfilling experience in the D.F. (the Federal District).

After working in English Language Teaching (publishing and giving classes) for many years, I'm always ready to have a lively discussion about language learning, or any other subject for that matter. I read a lot (especially historical novels and any books by Paul Auster or Murakami), and try to keep up with US and Mexican politics (I listen to NPR regularly and watch CNN).

As an avid practitioner of yoga and a yoga dance instructor, I'm always happy to have someone new to join me in one of my classes (and the level of yoga in Coyoacan is excellent). In fact, one of the best ways to pick up some more Spanish is by going to a class!

I'm extremely interested in holistic health practices and love all the alternative options in Mexico. I had considered going back to the US on a few occasions but finally realized I had too good of a life here to leave.

Working freelance as a writer/editor, taking wonderful dance classes, swimming a few times a week at the gym, going to yoga and traveling keeps me busy and happy.

BTW, my favorite language is Spanglish, and it's what I speak the best!

I feel extremely blessed to have so many interests, and to have gotten to a point in my life where I can be my authentic self, live in the present moment, feel free, and totally enjoy life!
