About This Listing
This is a small bedroom in my home with a comfortable futon bed (full size), chest of drawers, night table and built in shelves. It has a small fridge in the room. If you need more fridge space you can use the one in the kitchen and you are welcome to use the kitchen for cooking. There is free wifi for your use. I provide you with a continental breakfast with coffee or tea.
You share the bathroom with me. You have shelf space to leave your bath stuff out. I provide towels and washcloth.
Quiet hours are from 10:30pm - 8am. As this is my home there can easily be noise at other times - tv, radio, cooking in the kitchen, talking on the phone, etc.

I'm more than happy to tell you about all the great day trips around Albuquerque and things to do in town. It's my pleasure to be a positive part of your stay in the Land of Enchantment.
Please clean up after yourself in the kitchen. No candles or incense in your room. Quiet hours are 10:30pm - 8am. It's no problem is you come in later, just do so quietly.
Judith made it easy for us to share her home with her. She gave us a tour of our accommodations when we arrived. She allowed us to use her kitchen as needed and she made coffee for us in the morning. Her home was tidy, clean, artfully beautiful, and pleasant to be in. She was available and helpful to answer questions regarding her home, restaurants, getting around town. She accommodated our needs, eg extra hangers. We were gone much of the time, but when at the house, we felt we had privacy when needed.
Judith is a lovely and fascinating person with a home that reflects her positive nature through its art objects (many of them her work), and airy/homey feel. She lives in an established in-city residential neighborhood that is walking distance from restaurants and international grocery store. I was in Albuquerque for a medical procedure, came into town the day before and stayed in her airbnb guest room. The next night my boyfriend took my place at her home while I was hospitalized. Judith is the kind of host to whom it seems second nature to go with the flow. The bed is comfortable, the shared bathroom right next to it, and Lee and I both felt we were truly welcome in her home. We will certainly hope to book with Judith again when we travel to Albuquerque.
It was a great experience to meet Judith and stay at her home. It was comfortable and easy to find. I knew of Judith as an artist, in fact, I own a print of one of her paintings. So for me, it was a great pleasure and honor to get to meet her and see her artwork in person. It was a huge plus to be able to spend the night in a comfortable bed as I journeyed across the country. We shared a simple but delicious meal together in the evening and there was coffee and a bagel waiting for me in the morning.
Judith made me feel right at home. The space was private and comfortable. Judith's own beautiful artwork adorned the walls and added a nice element to the ambience. The cozy little desk gave me a comfortable place to write.
Judith and I had a nice conversation about art, my writing, her painting, her son's music, and some of the ups and downs of the artistic world.
Thank you, Judith, for making my first airbnb experience so enjoyable.
Judith was very welcoming, the room was clean, tidy, cozy, and very comfortable. I had full privacy, and everything fit the description accurately. The neighborhood was pleasant, and the hose is located a short walk from the bus station.

About the Host, Judith
I moved to New Mexico many years ago from San Francisco. As an artist, I was drawn here because of the light and the natural beauty. I keep busy working in my studio, showing my work at art markets and teaching part-time. In addition to painting, I love being outside in nature, swimming, reading, gardening, yoga, dance and travel.
I speak Spanish, Greek (badly) and am learning French. I love hanging out with friends and look forward to making new friends through airbnb.
