  • This was our first experience at using Airbnb and it definitely will not be our last. I think Robert has set the mark very high at being a very gracious host. Our apartment was spotless. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery, pots and pans and other items we wouldn't normally think to bring like glad wrap, ziploch bags and washing powder for our clothes. Robert also provides pool towels which is a bonus if you are flying.
The apartment complex is outstanding. We made use of the three tiered pool, the gym and the tennis courts.
I strongly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the Charlottesville area.

  • HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We stayed here for the weekend when we were visiting Charlottesville for a wedding. We were a little worried that it would be far from the downtown area but it was a very short drive! The apartment was adorable and wonderfully decorated. It came with everything we would need for our stay including coffee/creamer, kitchen appliances, washer & dryer, linens and even pool towels! We couldn't have asked (email hidden) to stay. It was spacious and the community was quiet and in a beautiful setting with mountains in the distance. The pool & bbq area were great! We were able to lounge by the pool a little and that was an added bonus for this condo. The hosts were pleasant and helpful and I highly recommend this over a hotel. Very reasonably priced too!

  • Our hosts were very gracious and have (email hidden) for a visit in Charlottesville. The beds were comfortable and the whole place was cozy, with throws for the bed and the couch.

We thought that staying here we would be a little far out, but it was maybe a five minute drive to downtown and it was nice to (email hidden) to get away. The furnishings are all new and the place is incredibly clean, well appointed and nicely decorated. The washer and dryer were very nice to have while traveling. We used the gym and the pool in the complex which were both lovely.

I would recommend this place without hesitation. In fact, my in-laws saw it and wished they were staying there and plan on staying here the next time they visit Charlottesville.

  • The purpose of my stay was to avoid overcrowding my daughter, son-in-law and new baby in their small apartment, in which they were already hosting a set of in-laws.

I wanted to take some of the pressure off. Needed a comfortable abode for myself and my younger adult son, in which I could cook dinners and bake pies etc. Discretionary time is exceedingly scarce - it makes for good memories to spend it in a place where you can do the things you enjoy doing over a family holiday.

Robert and Sue were exceedingly accommodating. They equipped the kitchen for family cooking - including top notch roasting pans, enough serving utensils, and platters. The living room was spacious, the bedrooms and furnishings very comfortable. Washer and dryer were much appreciated, and the two bathrooms were a real plus. Food Lion right down the street for the forgotten items (always happens, sigh). If we had had the time and inclination (we had neither, lol!), getting downtown and to the Market St. garage would have been a straight shot.

For our needs, this was the perfect Thanksgiving Weekend place. And we didn't even get to use the clubhouse, with its exercise and large screen TV facilities. I'd come again in a heartbeat. Thanks much to Robert and Sue!
