We have two types of De luxe rooms. One is set in a colonial French villa. The other one is set in a modern villa. Both are comparable in size and facilities. Depending on the occupancy and your preference (if possible) we can host you.
There is a swimming pool of 17 meters for shared use. The pool has been voted as one of the top 7 pools in Siem Reap by The Phnom Post. Near the swimming pool is a restaurant for breakfast (included), lunch, dinner or drinks.
The villa is nestled within a residential area which is easily accessible by car or tuk tuk via a good road. It is only 3 minutes away from the main city. We provide free shuttle via tuk tuk upon request to the main city centre (Old Market).
The main attractions of Siem Reap are the temples e.g. Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom are about 6 kilometers to the north.
The lake of Tonle Sap with houses on stilts and the floating forest is .about 15 kilometers to the south.
The transport is usually done by Tuk Tuk but also Taxis are available.
Mosquitoes, polluted stagnant water just outside front gate and more mosquitoes. Asked staff for a mosquito net for the bed, we were told they sprayed the room everyday to control them. Insisted they stop the spray. We bought a net at the market and asked staff to install. They did not. We installed ourselves and left it for the next guests. In an area that is know for malaria, dengue and other mosquito borne disease hotel should have nets for all the beds.pool area was nice. Did not see or speak with Rahim
If water out front was removed and nets provided for beds I would rate this hotel higher
Hi Alan, we have requested the water out side, which is not within our purview, to be drained and removed and also requested the community chief to cover the drain, but all requested were denied. There are things which are within our control, like fumigation, spraying and even providing nets. We actually have nets in the storeroom and I am just wondering why this was not given to you on request. We would have gladly reimbursed the net you bought if you had asked. Cambodia is a country well known for all the diseases you mentioned, but the city itself has been declared malaria free zone. I was outstationed but I regularly asked the staff if everything was ok and they did mention to me about you buying your own net. I am sorry this had to happen. I do hope the staff had provided you with the service we have been known to provide and hope you and have enjoyed the serenity of staying at the Pool and Palm Villa.
We had a great time at the Pool and Palm Villa. We were upgraded to a bigger room in the colonial vila which was very nice of course. It was clean, taken care off, airco and fan in the bed room, even an extra mosquito spray if you would need it.
In general the whole property looked very nice and taken care off, a nice garden and pool with the restaurant attached to it. Food was great, we also stayed in one night and ate at the restaurant. Very affordable and tasty.
As long as you know that you're not sitting right in the center of the city this is a perfect place. I actually liked being a bit out of the hectic of the city. And with the offer of the free tuktuk rides into town, the location is not really something to worry about anyway.
Plus the owners (Cees and Rahim) and staff are super friendly and helpful in many ways.
They are very flexible and always willing to help if we had questions or organise something for you. My girlfriend is full vegetarian and while there is vegetarian food on the menu, they also offered to make her different dishes if she liked. In general you could be part of the family as that is how it feels, if you choose not to be that also seemed fine. I would highly recommend this place to stay and hope to come back one day.
Hi Mark and Nurdan,
Such a nice review thank you. Your words captured the core when you wrote you felt like being part of the family.
We try to be flexible and help people having a great expierience in Siem Reap.
Every time our guests are happy it makes the staff and me also happy.
Hope to see the both of you again.
This is THE PLACE to stay in Cambodia. The rooms were amazing, the restaurant's food was perfection. Take a swim in the pool, stroll the grounds....the employees are so helpful, they make it possible to experience the best of Siem Reap. Meet the proprietors, Rahim and Cees, and you will understand why the energy of this place is so perfect. They are truly part of this beautiful world, and will show you the real Cambodia. You will never want to leave!
Thank you for your great review. It was lovely to meet you. We had such nice talks together. Guests like you make it fun for the staff and us as well. Sometimes it is like karma. What you give is what you receive. Thank you for staying with us.
Hope to see you again someday.
Lovely rooms and great pool. Staff friendly and always willing to arrange trips, tuk tuks etc. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in siem reap
Great staying with Pool and Palm. Nice n quiet area just 5mins away from old market by
Tuktuk. Staffs r also very friendly n helpful. Would recommend anyone as they hav family villas right up to just private rooms for 2pax. I would defintely stay there again when visiting siem reap!
Thank you Patricia for your nice words and I am happy that you liked your stay with us.
It is true that our villas and rooms are suitable for 1 peron up to groups of 22 people. The rooms have separate entrances so everybody has a lot of privacy and if you want you can be together as a group. If you come again to Siem Reap please stay with us again!
We didn't get to meet Rahim, but were welcomed by his incredibly helpful staff. Dai who met us at the front desk helped us organise all things during our week and a half stay here, including tour to the Angkor and Mount Kulen on a bike. The villa is less than 10 mins away from the Old Market and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms were perfectly adequate and spacious. There's a few additional great things including the pool, free breakfast, free tuk tuks to the city, good food at the kitchen and wifi. Really, everything one needs and more.
Thank you Bryan mentioning so many additional great things: "the pool, free breakfast, free tuk tuks to the city, good food at the kitchen and wifi. Really, everything one needs and more". I couldn't have have said it better myself (hehe..).
I will tell Tai and the rest of staff that they did a very good job.

I was born in Singapore. I studied and lived in Singapore, New Zealand and in The Netherlands. At the moment I live in Cambodia.
I love Cambodia and I have seen most interesting places around Siem Reap. My staff and I can help you with organizing tours to the famous temples as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm, Bantai Srei but also to less know places around here. Also if you are into playing Golf, horse riding, Quad driving, seeing a Silk farm or a Crocodile farm I can assist you.
I like to eat. So if you need a special type of restaurant like vegetarian, Italian, French, halal, local Cambodian or very local ask me.
In my free time I support an orphanage, help in a soup kitchen and teach English as a volunteer. For guests who like to help for a half day or more in a soup kitchen I can be your contact.
