Angela and Peter were excellent hosts. Peter gave good advice re wineries and cafes to visit on our trip to the Yarra Valley. If you want to see the country to the east of Melbourne, then their house is an ideal place to stay.
Angela and Peter were very welcoming hosts. Their household is very relaxed and we enjoyed our stay enormously. Accommodation is very spacious and as private as you wish it to be. Thanks Angela / Peter
Beautifully clean, private, spacious and quiet, this accommodation is excellent value and I would highly recommend it. The accommodation is the full upstairs story of Angella and Peters beautiful home and consists of two bedrooms, a large rumpus / lounge room, spacious, sparkling clean bathroom and a separate toilet. Breakfast is included! Wow!
We stayed with Angela and Peter for one night as we had a family funeral to attend in Melbourne. A kind welcome and helpful suggestions were really appreciated at what was a difficult time for us. Thank you!
Enjoyed our stay. If you like a quiet, homely place, then this could be the best bet for you. Our 3 years old son had great time playing with all the toys that were offered by Angela & her kids. He also enjoyed watching good collection of cartoon movies (DVD and VHS Tapes).
My wife and I and our two kids (12 & 10) stayed for 2 nights. We were welcomed as friends and felt at home until it was time to leave. We stayed on the first floor, it was spacious and very clean. The property is located in a quiet part of Mitcham but only a short walk to the train station, offering prompt connections to the CBD. Angela, Peter are wonderful hosts with their 2 children being adorable. It was a very pleasant experience and recommend it for a great family stay.
We had a great time staying at Angela's and Peter's home. We stayed at the second floor of the house and shared the kitchen with the family. The place is very spacious and comfortable.
The neighborhood is very quiet and there is a big park very close to the house.
Thank you for the hospitality!
We really enjoyed our stay with Angela and her family. We had the first floor to ourselves, and it was all very comfortable. Breakfast was provided and we were asked to join the family one evening for dinner, but we were only in Melbourne for three nights, and decided to stay in the city until later, so unfortunately did not spend time with the family. Really quite location and about 10 mins walk from the railway station.
Thank you very much for your hospitality and the lifts to and from the station. Barbara and Louise.
We had a very enjoyable stay with Angela and her family. They were very friendly and welcoming, and put themselves out to entertain us. Angela and Peter's home is very comfortable and we found it very easy to get to Melbourne using public transport. If we ever get the chance to visit Australia again, you can be sure we will try to stay with them. Thank you all for making us so welcome.
