Top Apartment in a top location. This location puts you in the heart of REAL NYC. Nothing better than East Village living. Apartment is close to low and high end eating and drinking and close to Broadway and all its shops. Only 2 blocks away from the Subway as well. Hot showers, warm beds, cool apartment. You'll not get the authentic experience when staying in a hotel. Book this place today !!
Nice appt on toplocation! The appt, though not very big, has everything you may need on a NYC trip. The owners are easy to reach and helpfull. In summer, the airco machines on the surrounding roofs (appt is on top level) will produce some noise. Otherwise: privacy, luxury, room to move, what else do you need?
Great location in the east village, hosts were pretty helpful- although you do feel you are referred from one to the other quite a bit.
Although the place was fine it definitely shouldn't have been advertised for more than 6 people, and even that was a real push. We initially booked for 6 but had to extend for a 7th, which they charged extra for, however as far as we could tell there was no place for the 7th person to sleep.. I would suggest updating this to a 4-6 person place.
Super zentral gelegenes 2 Zi Apartement im sehr belebten East Village. Ausstattung und Größe entsprechen New Yorker Standards. Dh.
Great stay. Everything was just as described. Will look forward to staying here again.
Our experience here was horrible! This apartment is not as advertised and definitely not charming. While booking the apartment was seamless and hassle free, organising key pick up was difficult, requiring 2 days of attempted communication prior to response. My fiancée and I found the apartment dirty, with unclean bedsheets with hair in the bed, and a dirty and grimy bathroom also with hair. While the location was good, staying at the apartment was awful. We also had the unpleasant experience of being accused of stealing the iPad there, which we did not touch as we had our own, and it was clear that after the accusation was made that it was a scam by the hosts. I warn all interested customers to please BEWARE and find different hosts for your stay in NYC, as this place and the hosts are untrustworthy.
Zahava stole the iPad we provide in the apt, an item we have been providing for over a year. This is a terrible behavior and it the first time we have had a major property taking from the apt. We have had other guest take hair dryers and other little things that (unfortunately we might not notice it is missing or thrown away because it was damaged) are also not nice but stealing an iPad is totally unwarranted. At first we didn't want to believe the guest took the device since we had not had this happen, but upon inquiring from Zahava, she immediately claimed it was a scam. This to us came across as premeditated defense. Also, there are other signs that proved it was taking by the guest as she claimed to have seen it but didn't know it went missing. We have filed a police report and after hosting over 1300+ guests we DEFINITELY hope not to come across such issues where our property (with a lot of sentimental value) goes missing.
Stayed here for a bachelorette party,3 nights, with the girls flying in type JFK. The pictures exemplify the place as is. The hostess was readily available to provide fresh bed linens. I hit up Trader Joe's grocery several blocks away, way too crowded! You have to dedicate at least 1 h our for grocery general shopping. This place is nice for a crash or one couple stay. Two crowded for 5 girls. There was an expected stop art the downstairs door in the middle of the night and rang our buzzer. We did not open the door. Also keep in mind there are 5 flights of stairs so if you have a lot of luggage, no elevator. But what do you expect in NYC. My favorite thing about was the location in the heart of lower east side/alphabet city.
My friend and I stayed at the apartment in east village for 6 nights while we were in New York and then stayed in a hotel for the last night for our stay in New York as we stuffed up our dates when we booked. We are so glad that we had 6 awesome nights in this apartment over a hotel. The apartment is way more spacious compared to any hotel you will find in New York. My friend and I had our own bed and room to sleep in, we were able to cook in the large enough kitchen and eat comfortably at the table. The place was adequately heated which was awesome given we were there during new yorks cold spell. Cornflakes were also provided for breakfast which was a nice touch. Most of all the area is safe, close to the subway and union square and has lots of great restaurants and bars around it. The hosts were quick to respond when needed. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting .
I stayed for 6 nights at the apartment with my mum and sister. We had a great time, the apartment was spacious for the 3 of us and the beds were super comfy. We didn't use the kitchen much as ate out most days, but it had everything that was needed to cook. Was handy having the free cereal there too. A nice little touch. The bathroom was nice and big and the shower was lovely. There was plenty of towels and toilet rolls during our stay. The apartment was lovely and warm even when it was -15 outside. We had to turn the radiator off during the night as it was too hot and a little noisy. There was plenty of hanging space in the apartment. It was bright and cosy. It was also a bonus that there was an I pad there to use. Which we found handy when trying to find information.
The street the apartment sits on has plenty to offer, there are quite a few deli's, restaurants of different origin, something for everyone's taste. I believe the metro is close by but we never used it, I slipped on ice the first day and broke my ankle, so taxi's were needed everywhere.
The apartment is not far from major attractions and shops. I can imagine it would be a nice walk in the summer.
The hosts were easy enough to contact during my stay. I didn't have a phone but sent them message through air bnb, which they responded too instantly. They were very helpful with any questions I had.
We had a great time in NY and really enjoyed the neighbourhood we stayed it. It had a great vibe and felt very safe. We were happy with the apartment and facilities. Thank you guys.
