  • Excellent hosts, apartment also in perfect location!

    April 2014
  • Great location, the apt had everything we needed. Compared to most NYC hotels for this money, in my experience, the apt offers you a LOT of space and comfort. Nothing to complain about, we had a nice stay.

    March 2014
  • The apartment was an incredibly comfortable option for the five of us. We are all academics in our late 20's /early 30s and we were in town for a professional conference, but we also wanted a place to hang out together. While the apartment was on the small side, we did not have expectations for anything big or luxurious-- it was just very pleasant to be able to come home and make a cup of tea or to have breakfast in-house in the morning. The location can't be beat and the beds were comfortable. It is a walk-up so just keep that in mind if stairs are a challenge. The hosts answered questions very promptly and accommodated our late check out time, which was REALLY nice of them. Overall, it was a great experience.

  • We stayed in this apartment for a little under two weeks and had a great time here, highly recommended! It's a great space in a really fun area, with stacks of great bars and food nearby.

The apartment itself was super tidy and clean with everything we needed to be self sufficient, with no street noise and quiet neighbours.

The hosts were very friendly and responded to my (many) questions promptly and patiently throughout our stay, and their guidebook highlights some real gems to help you find something up your alley, from eateries and cafes to bars and clubs. Can't recommend enough, and if I'm ever back in NYC I'll definitely be staying again!

  • Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Completely unethical hosts!

Response from Bella, Alex, Maria, Ivy & Christine:

Guest did not show up for the reservation which blocked our calender and requested a full refund.

  • Top Apartment in a top location. This location puts you in the heart of REAL NYC. Nothing better than East Village living. Apartment is close to low and high end eating and drinking and close to Broadway and all its shops. Only 2 blocks away from the Subway as well. Hot showers, warm beds, cool apartment. You'll not get the authentic experience when staying in a hotel. Book this place today !!

  • Nice appt on toplocation! The appt, though not very big, has everything you may need on a NYC trip. The owners are easy to reach and helpfull. In summer, the airco machines on the surrounding roofs (appt is on top level) will produce some noise. Otherwise: privacy, luxury, room to move, what else do you need?

  • Great location in the east village, hosts were pretty helpful- although you do feel you are referred from one to the other quite a bit.
Although the place was fine it definitely shouldn't have been advertised for more than 6 people, and even that was a real push. We initially booked for 6 but had to extend for a 7th, which they charged extra for, however as far as we could tell there was no place for the 7th person to sleep.. I would suggest updating this to a 4-6 person place.

  • Super zentral gelegenes 2 Zi Apartement im sehr belebten East Village. Ausstattung und Größe entsprechen New Yorker Standards. Dh.

  • Great stay. Everything was just as described. Will look forward to staying here again.

About
I am a 22 year old native New Yorker. I work as an editor and freelance writer. I like taking advantage of all the city has to offer, explores new places in the neighborhood, attending gallery opens, going to museums, concerts, etc. After using Airbnb for some time, I introduced my friends to the site and we decided to manage our apt and our friend/family homes on this great community. We are laid back, down-to-earth, and have enjoyed having roommates in the past. We are very helpful and accommodating to anyone who visits us from out of town, always happy to give them advice about places to see in the city. We host business/start-ups clients and We enjoy having this relationship! Languages spoken: Spanish, French, English, Russian, German, Polish and Slovakia Czech.
