All 4 spaces at the Farmhouse are private, all have wifi access.

You will feel like you are in the country when you enjoy the back garden, the front porch or the upper deck. When I am able, I love to visit with guests, with coffee in the morning and/or a cocktail in the evening.
My house is located two blocks from a bus stop that goes straight to Downtown Memphis. Also, a library, a shopping center, a post office. and various restaurants are within walking distance
Cooking in the main kitchen is $5/meal.. Laundry is $1 per load.
The best way to find the farmhouse is to get on Summer Ave between Highland St and Graham, and turn north on Isabelle St. At the Sonic.
Go through the Faxon intersection, coming to Tutwiler next. Turn right, my house is the third house on the left.. a two story with prayer flags hanging from the porch. Drive straight towards the back fence to park.
Never block the drive or drive on grass, please.. :)
Other Things to Note
During the Winter months, the Cottage can be difficult to keep warm because it is made of concrete. Many others have stayed comfortably, but if you are cold natured, you may want to consider the Blue Room on the second floor.
Also, please do not flush anything down the toilets that doesn't either come from your body or the toilet paper roll...My house has old plumbing. That's why public restrooms have those signs everywhere.

Thanks so much for your help.
Sadly Patty was out of town, so we didn't get a chance to meet her. The guesthouse was absolutely perfect for our needs. It's basically set up like a small studio apartment (bath, half kitchen, single room), and is great if you are looking for something quiet and private. There is also a large parking lot on property, so bonus for those that don't like parking on the street. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the guesthouse here, especially for couples or anyone looking for a touch more privacy than a room in an occupied house would provide.
The Cottage was very cute and comfortable. I only stayed for one night, would have loved to stay for more! Patty was not around but she was very quick to respond to messages.
Das Cottage ist klein aber fein und gemütlich. Es bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Anbindung an die Stadt ist gut, wir hatten ein Auto und waren damit schnell an zentralen Orten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden diese Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.
Patty is a very nice host! She got in touch with us as soon as possible and was very patient with our questions. The cottage was lovely and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay with Patty in her cottage behind the farmhouse. It was in a nice, safe area, a good distance from the Beale Street action but far away enough to feel at peace in Patty's beautiful garden. YOU HAVE TO GO to the civil rights museum - it is a must! Thank you Patty!
This experience was somewhat different for me. I really didn't want to stay at a pricey hotel. After reading all the reviews, I said why not. So I found this cute little cottage and sent in a request and we needed something by the close of business Friday and Patty our host answered within minutes. After answering a few questions, Ms. Patty said yes pack your bags! I was like Awesome!! Communicating with Patty was very convenient. She sent right over the confirmation and instructions. We arrived after 1:00 a.m. and I needed to get in touch with Patty. I was hesitant because of how late it was but I did. To my surprise, Patty answered the phone in a pleasant voice. She was very sweet and helpful but we finally got settled in our cute and cozy little cottage which was described to the tee. Patty stayed in touch until we finally made the trip back home. I was awwwwed. Over all, this was the swiftest and most pleasant experience I’ve had renting a place for the weekend, better than any hotel. From now on, Airbnb is my first stop. Thanks Again Patty, you are the best!

About the Host, Patty
I am a welcoming host, but keep in mind....
Be sure this casual environment is your cup of tea. I get plenty of wonderful, laid-back guests who love my home. If you are not laid-back, please look for something more expensive that suits you better...
I am a very liberal, open minded person, but conservatives, namely Republicans, may be put off by the environment in my home. It is my home, so be sure it works for you.. There are lots of options in Memphis to consider.
Also, the Farmhouse does not discriminate against any one except religious fanatics who judge others based on their lifestyle. This is an open and affirming home.
Guests are allowed to have coffee and to use the frig, the microwave and the toaster in the downstairs kitchen, but no cooking on the stove, or in the second floor kitchen. I decided it was too risky when folks aren't familiar with my appliances.. Sorry
