All 4 spaces at the Farmhouse are private, all have wifi access.

You will feel like you are in the country when you enjoy the back garden, the front porch or the upper deck. When I am able, I love to visit with guests, with coffee in the morning and/or a cocktail in the evening.
My house is located two blocks from a bus stop that goes straight to Downtown Memphis. Also, a library, a shopping center, a post office. and various restaurants are within walking distance
Cooking in the main kitchen is $5/meal.. Laundry is $1 per load.
The best way to find the farmhouse is to get on Summer Ave between Highland St and Graham, and turn north on Isabelle St. At the Sonic.
Go through the Faxon intersection, coming to Tutwiler next. Turn right, my house is the third house on the left.. a two story with prayer flags hanging from the porch. Drive straight towards the back fence to park.
Never block the drive or drive on grass, please.. :)
Other Things to Note
During the Winter months, the Cottage can be difficult to keep warm because it is made of concrete. Many others have stayed comfortably, but if you are cold natured, you may want to consider the Blue Room on the second floor.
Also, please do not flush anything down the toilets that doesn't either come from your body or the toilet paper roll...My house has old plumbing. That's why public restrooms have those signs everywhere.

when you finish...
*Rinse the toothpaste out of the sink after brushing your teeth…

I never thought I'd have to say this, but Hostel guests must be appropriately
dressed in public areas, including going in and out of the bathroom.
Thanks so much for your help.
Very charming little place in a quiet yet conveniently located neighborhood. We didn't really spend a lot of time here except to sleep at night, so we didn't see much of Patty, but there were two very nice kitties that we gave lots of pets to.
So yeah, this place isn't, like, top-notch fancy or anything, but if you're a low maintenance traveler on a budget, this place is perfect.
My only minor complaint is that the towels were very thin and very rough, and kind of hurt to dry off with. But that wouldn't stop me from staying here again.
The listing was accurate and we found the neighborhood to be pleasant! It's an older area of Memphis, but very charming!
The cottage is exactly as it looks, simple , clean and quiet. It had everything we needed for a couple of nights in Memphis and wasn't too far from Downtown and the zoo.
The area is residential and quiet, which made us feel safe being out of towners. Patty was helpful and offered help if needed. Overall good value for the price.
Patty was an excellent host. The cottage was nice and just as described. The next time I'm in the Memphis area again I will be staying with Patty again!
A very cozy and relaxing place! It felt like staying overnight at a friend's house. This was our first Airbnb experience and it has totally sold us on the experience.
The cottage is comfortable, though the shower/bathroom is tiny. We would have appreciated more guidance in the form of signs. It was late when we arrived and the house was dark. There were no signs telling us how to proceed, where to go or what the process was. There were also no instructions on the website. We wandered around the dark parking lot for thirty minutes before discovering that the key to the cottage was just hanging in the lock. The next night this same thing happened to another couple who arrived late and didn't know what to do or where to go. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
The Farmhouse Graceland was in a great central location in an older neighborhood in Memphis. The cottage had everything that we needed and Patty was an excellent host! She afforded us absolute privacy but we felt certain that she would be available for any needs we might have had. We would definitely recommend the cottage to others! Thank you, Patty!

About the Host, Patty
I am a welcoming host, but keep in mind....
Be sure this casual environment is your cup of tea. I get plenty of wonderful, laid-back guests who love my home. If you are not laid-back, please look for something more expensive that suits you better...
I am a very liberal, open minded person, but conservatives, namely Republicans, may be put off by the environment in my home. It is my home, so be sure it works for you.. There are lots of options in Memphis to consider.
Also, the Farmhouse does not discriminate against any one except religious fanatics who judge others based on their lifestyle. This is an open and affirming home.
Guests are allowed to have coffee and to use the frig, the microwave and the toaster in the downstairs kitchen, but no cooking on the stove, or in the second floor kitchen. I decided it was too risky when folks aren't familiar with my appliances.. Sorry
