My home is in an older neighborhood of Memphis, on a residential, mid-city, semi-busy street, with ample parking and is within walking distance of a library, a bus stop, the Greenline biking/walking trail, varied restaurants, and a shopping center. It is about 8 miles from downtown Memphis.
All 4 spaces at the Farmhouse are private, all have wifi access.
The property includes:
THE GRACELAND COTTAGE- a separate building behind the main house, which provides complete privacy and includes a queen bed, full private bath, kitchenette, and wifi connection.
first floor rooms…..
THE WEST MEMPHIS

THE SUN STUDIO
three twin beds, and shared bath.
THE BLUES ROOM
A sunny space on the second floor, the Blues Room has two twins, a deck in the treetops, shared bath.
You will find the accommodations at The Farmhouse will fit just about anyone's needs and budget.
You will feel like you are in the country when you enjoy the back garden, the front porch or the upper deck. When I am able, I love to visit with guests, with coffee in the morning and/or a cocktail in the evening.
My house is located two blocks from a bus stop that goes straight to Downtown Memphis. Also, a library, a shopping center, a post office. and various restaurants are within walking distance
Other Things to Note
During the Winter months, the Cottage can be difficult to keep warm because it is made of concrete. Many others have stayed comfortably, but if you are cold natured, you may want to consider the Blue Room on the second floor.
Also, please do not flush anything down the toilets that doesn't either come from your body or the toilet paper roll...My house has old plumbing. That's why public restrooms have those signs everywhere.

Thanks so much for your help.
Great little bungalow behind the main house. Very easy access to downtown Memphis and all of the major attractions. Nice and quiet neighborhood, plenty of privacy.
Patty was super friendly and very flexible. We accidentally booked our trip a day off, and she was quick to reschedule, even though we found out about a mistake the day of our reservation. The room was super clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The room was very cold even though there were two heaters, but in the warmer months this wouldn't be an issue.
The Graceland Cottage was great and plenty cozy - even in February. I never got the opportunity to meet Patty, but she was very communicative and everything went really smoothly with our arrival and checkout. I would definitely stay here again if I were coming through Memphis!
This was our first time using airbnb and it set the bar really high for the rest of our experiences. We hope everyone else is as great as Patty. The space was perfect and comfortable and as described. It was clean and warm and very well prepared for us. She was accommodating and flexible with our travel schedule and sightseeing before arriving to check in. She was friendly and welcoming and we regret not being able to stay longer than we did because we would've liked to hang out with her more.
We were pleasantly surprised over how nice and cozy the cottage is! Two heaters were available to keep us warm, though it was a pretty mild weekend. Patty's cottage is comfortable and convenient and Patty is a friendly and communicative host. Everything was lovely and I would stay here again!
Our host was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. I love how Patty treated us as newcomers and communicated with us with directions, and arrival plans. We truly felt like our short stay was at a home away from our home. The neighborhood felt safe and was close to a main road that will get you to where you need to go in a short amount of time. We came to visit Graceland and it was only 20 minutes or so to Graceland from our little cottage. Patty did a wonderful job making our stay worth our time and money. The description was exactly as written on Patty's page. If we return to Memphis, we will be staying with Patty. :)
Great place to stay, quite and nice safe area. In the middle of the Memphis circle so great for getting around. I stayed in the back suite and it was very nice with a kitchenette. Patty was a great host as well. She invited me breakfast one morning and was very welcoming. And her food was amazing! I would definitely stay again.

What I love most about Airbnb is that all of us are on the same playing field, so to speak... We both get and give reviews.. So, be sure this casual environment is your cup of tea. I get plenty of wonderful, laid-back guests who love my home. If you are not laid-back, please look for something more expensive that suits you better... Thanks
