About This Listing
Reserve for at least nine guests, and I will leave the entire house for your use!
There are four beds in three bedrooms upstairs and two beds in the finished basement. )Airbnb does not allow more than one bedroom to be listed unless I list it exclusively as an entire-home rental). One bedroom has a queen bed, another has a queen bed with a full size bed on an overhead loft. The finished basement has a full-size bed and a twin bed. The Master bedroom (available with whole-house rentals only) has a queen bed.
I will make sure your needs are accommodated!
Guests tell me my home is a relaxing place to unwind after a busy day of work or travel. Many of them also end up sleeping in late and lingering around! My home is spacious, quiet, and full of light including a sunroom and a kitchen with wall-to-wall skylights.
My home is at the end of the cul-de-sac of a very safe and quiet neighborhood convenient to Interstate 74. Downtown is only a mile away. I have a mountain bike for guest use around town and to ride the trails in nearby Brum Woods.
High-speed (6Mbs) WiFi available, and you are welcome to use my 60" Smart HDTV or my home theater projector (both with Blu-Ray DVD players) and Roku 3 with Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, etc!
When it is cold, you may park your car in my attached garage and build a fire in the fireplace!
Other Things to Note
You will have a full refrigerator shelf available for your food. There is an empty cabinet available for your use.
I have a Keurig coffee maker for your use. You are welcome to bring your own K-cups, but I do have a selection available in the drawer just underneath the machine. I only ask $1 for each unit to maintain the supply.
Please leave the place as clean as you find it when you arrive. That includes the dishes :-)
No pets allowed because i keep the place clean as possible. I am willing to consider exceptions such as service dogs.
Kid's room with two full size beds (one on overhead loft with ladder access. Recommended for agile adults and children).
This was my second time renting from Michael. The house is clean and spacious and the sleeping accommodations are comfortable. Michael is a great host. Highly recommend this rental.
Michael was an exemplary host, making sure I was settled in his house. He left work to greet me. The house was immaculate, the bed was very comfortable and there was wifi. I don't watch tv very often, but a large flat screen with dvd player and sound system was available in the living room along with an ample dvd movie selection. You can't beat the price!! I chatted with two other guests in the house and enjoyed their company. The stay at his house was so much better than a motel room with a whole house to relax in and enjoy the company of others. Michael, you're the best!!
Michael is the greatest guest anyone could wish to find! He is heartly welcoming and gentle and kind and at the same time very discrete. The house is beautiful, comfortable, clean and quiet. Higly recommended!
We needed a place to crash en route to DC (ok fine, we actually were going to hit Columbus first) and this place was on the way. Prompt response, just 5 mins off the highway and in a really really nice homely house. The best part - he let us sit and do a photo op on his Indiana Jones motorycle (with the sidecar). Sorry Michael, the secret's out !
Great room in a very nice neighborhood. This was my first Airbnb experience, and it was great! Michael was nice (in the little interaction I did have with him - I was gone a lot). I felt at home.
The place is amazing, it's got a large, clean and well designed living room and kitchen. Bedroom is cozy. The host Michael is a technical expert and he's so friendly. I love the place and I'll definitely recommend it.
About the Host, Michael
I love hosting and and meeting airbnb guests in my home, and I sometimes cook with them! I love cooking with friends, family, guests, and hosts, and trying out new foods, cuisines, and restaurants. I am always on the go, and spend very little time at home, whether it is in my own home or when traveling. Also, I much prefer to stay in a real home with interesting people rather than be isolated in a hotel room.
In addition to cooking and eating food, I am also an avid forager of wild edible foods and love connecting with others interested in foraging.
I also love the water--whitewater kayaking, canoeing, and sea kayaking.
I am also a runner, and welcome airbnb guests to join me for running!
I also love to travel and enjoy sharing ideas for new destinations worldwide.
