My family and I stayed at Pat's place for a week and had a wonderful time. The house was quite spacious for the 7 of us and had a breathtaking view of Blarney Castle! Pat was a kind host and we would certainly stay here again.

This is a wonderful and welcoming place to stay in Blarney. The house is spacious and our group of six adults and two children were comfortably accommodated. We did not get to meet Pat, our host, but he left lots of documentation on all aspects of the house. The property is clean and well-kept; the furniture is comfortable and appropriate. The house is located on a hill overlooking Blarney Castle and the town of Blarney. It is only a short walk to the center of town with its stores, shops and restaurants. We also found Blarney to be a convenient base for trips to Cork, Mallow, Kinsale and Kenmare. We would definitely enjoy staying here again.

"Charming Blarney" is a very apt description. The house is exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The location is great - just a short 5-minute walk into the village where you can find restaurants, a grocery store and a little pharmacy. It's also a great location for day trips to other parts of southern Ireland. Pat was very helpful and cheerfully and immediately responsive to all my questions. The welcome packet was very useful and made things much easier.

The house was very big and confortable. Everything was clean and tidy. The location is really nice, close to cork and you can walk to the castle. I highly recommend it!

This house feels like a home when you walk in. It's huge, comfortable, spotlessly clean, beautiful and very modern, with ample space for many people. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would stay there again in a heartbeat, as well as recommend it to anybody visiting the Cork area. Pat's description of the house is very accurate. Everything was very well set up for our arrival and Pat communicated with us both before and after our stay. When we got to the house I contacted Pat with a question and he responded immediately. The view of the castle is gorgeous and the area is very peaceful, yet all amenities are a quick walk away. I have no negative comments, rather two observations for future guests... The highchair in the house is actually a booster seat, which is worth keeping in mind if you travel with a younger child. Also, we noticed that the driveway of the house is used by other cars very often to turn their cars (URL HIDDEN) at the end of a cul de sac and the neighbours parked their car in the turning circle, so it is understandable that drivers use the driveway. It by no means took away from our stay, but with huge windows facing the driveway, you can see and be seen.
