Neighborhood is very good. Emirates stadium is in the same road, we have university in the next road, lots of student.
Holloway Road tube station 5 min walk. In the area you will find local supermarkets, including Tescos, it is very good for restaurants, and just around the corner is the popular and vibrant Upper Street. Upper Street is packed with great restaurants, of every cuisine, trendy cafes, and eclectic bars. Another great place to visit is Stoke Newington's Church Street. You can take the 393 bus form opposite Holloway Road station directly to Church Street, which is full of great cafes, bars and restaurants.

Given the short period of time to find a place for about a week, I was happy to find an accommodation the night before!! It's a very short distance walk to Holloway tube station. There's also 24/7 supermarket as well. The flat was very quiet! (At least when I was sleeping. Note that it is near the Arsenal football stadium, but I wasn't there when the game was going on..) Location-wise, very convenient and safe.
The room itself is a bit small, but does have everything you need (besides hair dryer). Please note the hot water does not last more than about 5 minutes.
The key system was great and convenient - you can arrive any time you want.
Maggie was very nice and a great host! Thanks!
As this was my first experience of AirBnB, so whilst it's difficult for me to give a glowing recommendation it's also hard to be over critical.
The studio has many pros: location (3 mins walk from the nearest tube station/20 mins into central London), value for money, privacy and cleanliness. Maggie was also quick to respond to any queries I had and was a very good host.
The few cons are: It's little cramped, the shower quickly ran out of hot water every morning I used it and it's very close to the Arsenal ground so gets a bit rowdy on match days.
Whilst it ain't exactly the Ritz it would certainly do for 2/3 night stay.
Maggie, was very helpful and accommodating. She provided me with alternative accommodation, when the previous guest was 2 days late moving out because of illness, and then moved me into the studio I had booked ASAP. The room was ideal for my purposes (I love the cabin bed as it is such a good use of space). Having pots, plans plates and a microwave are all really helpful. I would happily recommend this studio as an alternative to a hotel any time. It is worth checking if there any Arsenal home game during your stay as the studio is very close to the stadium and you don't want to be trying to arrive or leave in a hurry at the same time! Of course, if you're a football fan then that's a plus!
The studio is only a small room, not worth the money.
The bed is really unconfortable and to my advice dangerous, epecially as it's not possible to switch the light off from up above the shaky ikea structure.
The area is a bit dodgy and scary, although all in all it has been a good experience.
I've never met any hosts or meeter-greeters which I found really odd.
One last thing is that the bedsheets and the sink were drenched with a foul smell.
I spotted bed bugs and other small insects around the bed, I luckily brought a sleeping bag which saved my sleep.
The place is quiet in a weird neighbourhood.
Adrianna, I am so surprised with your comments , If you were so un happy ,why did you not talk to me , what you are saying is not reasonable ,put it nicely , every one so happy staying in this Studio, I know very well ,I my self clean , please be reasonable ,when you make comment , be happy , Maggie
This place is perfect if you want somewhere simple, quiet and private. It's great if you don't want to share a bathroom or toilet with other people. It is so quiet here, with the window fully open there is barely any noise at all - no traffic, no people. Maggie was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and helpful.
Place was in a decent spot. A little out of London but easy to get into town in about 15-20 minutes. Easy system for accessing building and good working Internet. A little tough as a twin room because the sofa is small and not to comfortable but it does the job. Good place for the price!
Maggie was a really nice host and the place was clean and quiet. Strongly recommended!
considering it was my first time in using airbnb, i was all over the place getting my booking done.
maggie was extremely patient and a gem to answer to some of my most inane questions. :-)
thank you maggie., I would recommend Maggie and the properties she offers without a second thought.
The place is as described and clean. Maggie is very responsive when contacted. Very good experience. Thanks
