The local bus stop is outside our front door-what could be more convenient?-North to Mornington/Frankston, or south to Sorrento/Portsea. Or, catch the Sorrento Sea Ferry across to Queenscliff for a lovely day out.

Linda was very accommodating for our last minute booking and had the apartment ready in a short space of time. Great location right on the beach and very close to rye and sorrento. We really enjoyed our stay here.
We had a lovely Easter exploring the Mornington Peninsula, and Linney's apartment was a perfect base. Location wise, it's close to perfect - count the steps to the beach. Rosebud is central to the attractions of the region and has some nice restaurants. Linney's place is not her home, but a very pleasant, nicely furnished, comfortable apartment. Great value and well recommended!
The key safe made arriving easy. Unit was very clean and nicely decorated. Things I want expecting that I should mention: The traffic noise is quite loud in the main bedroom, the unit is only 20 metres from the highway. It's in a block of units so there a shared walls with other units. One neighbour has quite a coughing problem. No outdoor space, nowhere to dry/ hang things. Main shops are at least a few hundred meters away or 10/15 walk, not close like I expected, I never found the library with wifi.
Great proximity to beach!
Hi Cat. You are the first one to mention traffic noise-nobody else has said this, and usually, at night, the traffice in Rosebud on the highway is minimal. I live on this road too, and very seldom have a problem with traffic noise.
The Clothes Line is at the back of the building and I'm sorry you couldn't find the Library as it's diagonally opposite the cinemas....next door to IGA. Regards, Linda
Everything about the unit was as advertised. Communication with Linda was excellent. The unit is small but very friendly. The location is great - on the beach side of the highway with a path leading the short distance to the beach directly alongside. Coffee shops etc are within a short'ish walk as is the library (free WiFi) and cinema complex.
Linney's place was delightful - exactly what we both needed. Well appointed and clean, it had such a relaxing feeling as soon as we walked in the door. Its a easy short walk to the boardwalk from the apartment, where you can directly access the beach or walk along to get to the middle of Rosebud. Best Australia Day weekend ever!
We had a great stay at Linda's lovely apartment. It was neat and well furnished in a fantastic location for exploring the Mornington Peninsula.
About the Host, Linda
My husband and I are Australian and avid travelers. We travel within Australia in our caravan with our two female maltese dogs. We also travel overseas every year or two now that we are retired. Linneys Place is an Apartment not far from where we live-it is competely selfcontained and even when we are away it can usually be available as the internet usually reaches us every couple of days, even in remote areas of Australia and overseas.
