St Kilda is the centre of the centre of the worlds most liveable city. The apartment is in the middle of the, cake, coffee, didning, beach, shopping, cycling, fun spots. Public transport is right outside your door and takes you all over Melbourne.
Our apartment is in an ideal location overlooking leafy Fitzroy St St Kilda. It is a short tram ride from the city and just a walk to the beach, Luna Park, Albert Park, Ackland St and the fantastic life of Melbourne. There are four fantastic restaurants down stairs and lots more over the road. The iconic Prince of Wales Hotel is over the road along with De Stasio and Mirkas is 100 m away.
This one bedroom air-conditioned apartment is on the first floor and there is a lift. It has one light and bright bedroom with built in robe. The adjacent bathroom has shower, basin, toilet and washing machine and drier.
The living room has a full kitchen with Smeg appliances, microwave and dishwasher. It has all the pots, pans, cutlery, glassware and china one needs.
It easily sleeps 2 and the couch opens up to make a double bed for the kids or two more. We provide free Wi-fi. A flat screen TV is mounted on the living room wall and a docking station is available to plug your ipod into. We can supply a cot and fold up camp bed for extra kids or babies at no charge. We can also supply a heater if you find the aircon isn't warm enough.
The adjacent nightlife can be noisy but through the day it is delightfully sunny, fairly quiet (the trams run past the front door) and comfortable. A Copenhagen style bike path runs by the front door, along Fitzroy St.
A huge balcony provides views over the tree lined street and St Kilda life and trams, and is a delight on which to lounge and enjoy the passing parade..
This apartment is ideal for making the most of Melbourne. There is no parking within the complex but we never need it in Melbourne as the public transport is excellent and the airport shuttle or combination of the Skybus and number 96 tram deliver one to the front door from the airport.
Free street parking is available all day within 500 m of the apartment.
There are many extras like fishing gear, beach towels, beach tent, craft equipment, kids toys and books, picnic basket and rug, champagne glasses, diswasher and laundry detergents, cleaing products,..... indeed everything one would find in a home.
This apartment is not a hotel, we use it often and the pantry has lots of day to day pantry items, which you are welcome to use. They include extra virgin olive oil, spices, pasta, rice, tinned essentials, tea, coffee, cereal, flour, sugar, dry biscuits, etc. Let me know if there are any other pantry items you'd like and, within reason, I wont charge for them.
The beach and Catani Gardens are just two blocks away. An Adventure Playgroud is just 500 m away. I could go on but this really is a perfect little gem of an apartment and ideal for making the most of St Kilda and Melbourne.
The apartment is fully self contained and has security access.
I'm on the end of the phone and email but you probably wont see me. I reply promptly and deal with every need efficiently.
This place is simply amazing! It's bright, private and yet in the middle of everything Melbourne has to offer.
Trams are right outside the door. Tram number 96 is Melbourne's most used line and you can watch it from the balcony. The airport shuttle stops at the front door.
We take great pride in providing a clean comfortable private home for our guests. We've had many reviews and they've all been 5 star. Read them. You'll love this place.

What a great little apartment! It had everything I needed for my 3 night stay in Melbourne. Fantastic location right near St Kilda Pier with some great little cafes and bars nearby. The tram is a stones throw from the front door and takes you straight into the city. The noise from the pub across the road carried on until late but it was nothing a pair of earplugs couldn't sort out. I would definitely stay again!
A lovely, comfortable apartment in the heart of St Kildas. A short walk to the beach and to some wonderful restaurants. Stavroula is a very thoughtful host.
The apartment was very nice and in a perfect location. We hade a great time at stavroulas place and would definitely come back! Highly recommended!
Perfect location, modern, good AC as we had a heat wave during our stay. Compact but everything was there. Would definitely book again.
This apartment was perfect, small but comfortable for our family. It had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, so central. Just need ear plugs as Fitzroy street gets a bit noisy towards the weekend.
Easy access; friendly host; ample supply of food staples; close to tram and restaurants; noisy night life (but we were warned and were there during holiday so expected that); clean; loved the balcony; thanks much!
We loved the apartment and the location in St. Kilda. Everything you might need was provided and we could not have asked for anything more. Questions were answered promptly by email.
Great location, if you want to be in party central. Close to St Kilda beach, it was wonderful to go for a dip on a very hot Monday afternoon. Close to trams, so easy to get to the city. It is noisy at nights, but our kids managed to sleep through all that.
Stavroula's place was wonderful for our visit to Melbourne. We traveled with our 8 month old baby, and the apartment worked perfectly for our family. Stavroula provided a cot (crib) for the baby, and the washer and dryer came in handy! There was even a little baby bathtub and a box of toys. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is located in a great neighbourhood. We highly recommend it, especially if you are traveling with a baby. (The only thing that would have made our stay better was better weather, but I suppose you can't have it all!)
The place was very nice. Very clean, towels provided, little soaps, shampoos - just like a hotel. And a great location too! The beach is very close (3 minutes walk!) where you can go down the pier and see penguins in the surrounding rocks. Good transport lines into town via tram. Walking distance to the awesome and historical Esplanade Pub where you can see gigs and have a pint. The only real drawback would be if you are a light sleeper (which I'm not) then it can be quite noisy over the weekends. Even with the windows closed, if there's a band at the bar across the road or downstairs, it's going to be pretty loud until quite late. But, as I mentioned, I'm not a light sleeper so for me it was no problem. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Stavroula :)
