About This Listing
San Juan Chalet Cabin has wonderful mountain views and a nice private yard surrounded by Lilac and Aspen trees. The Lilacs bloom in late May and early June. Our "Cabin" is a favorite among return guests. It has an open field to the south and The Secret Garden B&B is directly to the west. We have a picnic table and grill so you can enjoy your meals outside and soak in the beautiful mountain scenery. The Coffee table also pops up to a tray table.
The cabin has Satellite TV, High Speed WIFI, a king bed, and a queen futon in the den.
Also a full kitchen, even a blender! If you need anything else just ask!
New laminate floor was added May 2012 as well as a new beautiful granite counter. The Coffee table also pops up to a tray table.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ouray, and the San Juan Chalet provided everything we needed. It's the perfect size for a couple, and has a full kitchen in case you don't want to eat out all the time. It's a super easy, two-block walk into town. We also walked to the hot springs and to the trail-head for one of the hikes (Perimeter Hike--great way to see views of the city). Ryan quickly responded to any questions we had, and hunted down some discount tickets to the hot springs for us. Great stay!
The cabin was a fantastic place to stay. It is centrally located, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. Well appointed with all the essentials, easy to find, and comfortable. It was a tiny bit cramped with three people plus luggage and gear as the second bed is a futon in the living room / kitchen area, but totally workable. Would be perfect for just a couple. Would definitely recommend to others looking to stay in Ouray.
The San Juan Chalet Cabin is nestled just a block or so off Ouray's main drag, and is the perfect little spot to call home while you explore the area. It's clean, cozy, has cable TV for lazy nights in and has a SUPER comfy king-sized bed. There were guests in the other units but we never heard a peep, and only said hello as we came and went. We had an easy transaction with Ryan, a really pleasant stay and some of the best sleep we've had in a long while. Ouray's awesome, this place is awesome. We'll definitely be back.
This was a great little cabin in the middle of town. Comes with all the basics and is very clean. This would be a great place to come back to to thaw out, dry up, and get a hot shower after a day out in the snow / ice. It's within walking distance of the ice park and the restaurants and shops in the middle of town.
Ryan was very responsive and helpful. Also, there was an onsite manager, who kept the walkways ice free and was very friendly and hospitable.
We loved staying at this little cabin. It was clean and has everything you'd ever need. The location was also ideal: 1.5 blocks from Ouray Brewery and a 5-10 min walk from the Ouray Ice Park. The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and made for very restful nights between extremely active days!
Great place with a central location to Ouray. Would be a great place for a multiple couples to rent out the accommodations available on the site. They could share the backyard with a grill and picnic table. But then again the great restaurants are a short walk away.
