Our home, affectionately known as The Homeplace, sits on 6 acres of land away from main roads and heavy traffic and is outfitted with WiFi, Smart TVs, and streaming channels. It offers a delightful taste of both modern + country living.

Boat parking available.

Conveniently located:
- 15 mins from Downtown Oxford
- 20 mins from Kerr Lake
- 50 mins from RDU Int'l Airport, Raleigh, and Durham (Universities and Health Care Facilities)

The space
The Homeplace boasts three cozy bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and generous entertaining spaces with no shortage on natural light.

Two bedrooms are equipped with desks and padded chairs for guest convenience.

Our main room ensuite bathroom has a standing shower, while the hallway bathroom contains a shower/tub combo.

The dining room is large enough to comfortably accommodate all six guests. The original dining table has two bench chairs with two dining chairs (seats 6).

The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. It provides the essentials (stove, fridge, dishwasher) and includes a coffee maker, a hot water kettle, a microwave, a toaster, deep freezer, and lots of prep space to prepare a home cooked meal. We also have a stowaway table/island for additional prep or seating space.

Right outside of the kitchen is bistro seating, a still + chill spot to catch random wildlife sightings, envelop yourself in the golden hour, or simply sit outside to enjoy the peace and quiet over a hot cup of coffee or tea.

The living room has ample seating and is an ideal place to cuddle up with your favorite book, listen to some soft tunes, or watch that show you’ve been meaning to binge!

Our wrap around porch provides perfect patio seating, outfitted with relaxing rocking chairs that we love to use for long, meaningful chats over a cup of sweet tea and impromptu afternoon naps.

In the evenings, you’re invited to take a seat and watch the sun set into the trees, a sight that is too beautiful to pass up.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home, less the back closet which is locked.

The premises are open; however, we ask that all no trespassing signs are honored and to use discretion if venturing into tall grass or wooded areas.

Guests of The Homeplace do not have access to any other properties on the premises.

Other things to note
After two (2) guests, there is an additional fee of $20 per guest (up to six (6) guests permitted).

Additionally, The Homeplace is a non-smoking experience. Smoking is permitted outside only. Please note we will assess a $500 fine for any smoking paraphernalia left on the premises, including (but not limited to): smoke smells in the home and cigarette butts in the yard.

At this time, The Homeplace does not accept pets and a $500 pet fee will be assessed if pets of any kind are brought to our home.

Please note: the home shares a driveway with our sister property. We ask that guests are kind and courteous of one another entering and leaving by keeping the driveway open and parking only in the designated parking area.
