Bright, spacious one-bedroom apartment on second floor of Coronado Building (Edificio Coronado), a former four-star hotel. Built in early 1970s, Coronado has a unique art-deco design, featuring white semi-circular balconies, designed so you have the sun all day. As it was originally designed and run as a four-star hotel, you still have all the luxuries and features of a four-star hotel, while having the privacy of your own apartment and equipment.

The apartment is decorated in traditional Spanish style, with marble floor tiles, whitewashed walls, and dark wood furniture.
LIVING ROOM: Dining table and four chairs. Dresser with glassware and cutlery. Wireless internet access and printer. Satellite TV in several languages. DVD/CD player. Two sofas. Coffee table. Balcony with dining table, four chairs, and parasol.
KITCHEN: Fitted kitchen with cooking utensils, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Ceramic hob, extractor fan, and dishwasher. Exterior window.
BEDROOM: Super-king-size (180 cm) double bed. Folding bed available for third guest. Large wardrobes and chest of drawers. Steam iron, ironing board, and clothes airer. Hairdryer. Door to balcony with two sun loungers and parasol. Cot available for baby.
Bedlinen and towels are provided.
Beach towels are provided from May to September.
BATHROOM: Shower, WC, hand basin, and washing machine. A baby bath which fits into the shower is stored in the hall cupboard.
Floor area: 75 square metres.
Guests have access to all equipment and facilities in the apartment and on the Coronado complex.
The following amenities are available by prior arrangement with owners:

Extra single bed (folding bed) and bedlinen for third guest
Two sets of golf irons
Top closet in hall is locked. Guests may use the bottom closet.
Two closets in the bedroom (to the right of the door) are locked. Guests may use the wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Guests may not use the sun loungers in the storage area by the pool. These belong to owners. Guests may use the three sun loungers in the apartment, usually stored under the bed.
Interaction with Guests
Before you arrive, the owners are available to answer your questions by email, text message, or phone call.
When you have paid in full, we will send you a full information pack with details of local amenities and emergency numbers. There is also a copy of this document in English and Spanish on the coffee table. We will also give you details of where to collect and return the keys.
During your stay, you can contact the owners by text or email.
The staff on reception will help if you have any queries about internet access and TV.
You can collect the keys from a nearby location between 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.
You will need to return the keys before 11:00 a.m. to allow time for cleaning for the next guests.
Coronado is in the Marbesa Urbanization, a low-density development, with many green zones. There's a lovely long sandy beach 300 metres (3 minutes’ walk) from Coronado, with no high-rise buildings. You can walk all the way along the beach to Marbella to the west (9 km, about 5 miles) or to Cabopino to the east (1.5 km, about 2 miles). On the way to Cabopino, you will pass the Artola sand dunes, a protected natural beach with sand dunes and flora.
Large well-stocked supermarket across the road from the entrance, open daily, serving fresh bread, meat, fish, fruit and vegetables.
Good restaurants across the road and along the beach, serving local specialties.
Cash dispenser (Telebanco) near entrance to Coronado.
Guests can use the tennis courts and gym at the Don Carlos Hotel, a 20-minute walk.
Nikki Beach, one of the world's most famous beach clubs, as a 15-minute walk.
The Elviria Commercial Centre, a 20-minute walk, has a range of restaurants, bars, and shops.
Driving from Málaga: follow the A7, take the exit for Elviria, double back on the A7 in the direction of Fuengirola/Málaga, and turn right after the gas station, at the signpost for Heritage Resorts. Coronado is 300 metres on your left.
Bus stop on A7, about 3 minutes' walk from Coronado. Regular bus service (every 30 minutes) to Marbella centre, from where you can get buses to other destinations in Spain, and to Fuengirola, where you can get a train to Malaga Airport or city centre.
Car rental available from Coronado: a local company will deliver the car and collect it.
Plenty of parking space on the grounds of Coronado, at no extra charge.
Taxi rank in Elviria Commercial Centre.
Other Things to Note
A security deposit of 100 euro is required to cover loss of keys, damage to apartment, or breakage of equipment, beyond reasonable wear and tear.
This deposit will be refunded via Airbnb, after return of all keys and inspection of apartment by our agency.
No smoking in the apartment or on the balconies.
Do not make noise after 11:00 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m.
Use the portable clothes airer for drying clothes and towels. Do not drape items over the balcony to dry.
Use the recycling bins outside the side-entrance for paper, cardboard, glass, plastic bottles, cans, and cartons.
You can take the portable sun loungers that are in the apartment to the pool. Do not use the sun loungers in the storage area by the pool. These belong to residents.
Keep the codes for the wifi and the safe confidential: do not leave them lying around written on paper.
Leave the apartment clean and tidy.
Leave everything where it was when you arrived.
If you break or damage anything, please replace it. Otherwise, our agency reserves the right to retain all or part of your deposit.
Before you leave:
- Wash all tableware (plates, cups, cutlery, etc) and cooking utensils (saucepans, pans, etc)
- Dispose of all garbage in the bins outside the entrance
- Return all keys to the management company
Das Appartement war perfekt ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir haben uns in der spanischen Einrichtung sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. Der Kontakt mit Liz war sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Die Schlüsselübergabe war unkompliziert und die Umgebung sehr schön. Nah zum Strand, Supermarkt, Restaurants und zur Bushaltestelle. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
Aunque Isabel viva en Reino Unido no hemos tenido problemas para alquilar su local ya que ha estado muy atenta de que todo saliera bien. El piso es acogedor y no le falta de nada (secador, utensilios de cocina, vajilla, botiquin, tele..). Los alrededores ahora en invierno son tranquilos.
En general este apartamento es recomendable.
L appartement est très bien , , situé à proximité commerce et plage, au calme , piscine, beau jardin devant, 2 belles terrasses, prix correct,apart très fonctionnel avec tout ce qu il faut dedans, ,tele, wifi, grande chambre....resto simple et sympa à côté.
La signora che ci ha accolto è stata gentile e puntualissima. L'appartamento corrispondeva esattamente a quanto descritto.
Le attrezzature nella cucina erano complete e vi erano tutti i servizi di piatti e bicchieri per 6 persone, completi e di buona qualità.
La zona è facile da raggiungere, si trova effettivamente a 12 km da Marbella e dal terrazzo si gode una bella vista sul parco dell'hotel curato molto bene.
Ottimo il televisore e il collegamento con i canali stranieri (per noi Italiani ci sono i 3 canali RAI + RAI 24).
Isabel's apartment is exactly as described. Isabel is easy to reach, very friendly and helpful, so was Dora, our agency contact, she is reachable at any time and will help with any questions or problems you might encounter.
The apartment is bright and has two sizeable terraces (one in the bedroom and one in the living room) we enjoyed a lot, with views on the pool and a park with palm trees. It is a little bit dated, specially the bathroom, but was very clean.
Everything you can think of was provided: linens, blankets, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, toiletries, full equipped kitchen with all utensils, basic cooking material such as oils, spices, tea, coffee, etc.; fans in both the living room and bedroom, a sizeable TV with HDMI port, DVDs, music, books, tourism guides in several languages... and in case you have doubts to use anything Isabel has taken special care to leave instructions about basically everything which is very useful.
The beach is just a 3 min walk from the apartment, and it is conveniently located with supermarket, restaurants, cashpoint and convenience stores are just downstairs. The building is next to a camping and you can park easily.

Appartement très bien situé avec une belle vue sur les jardins de palmiers et la piscine et proche de la mer. Immeuble très bien entretenu et très calme. Avons été accueillis par une personne très sympathique mais qui ne parlait qu'anglais...
Petits détails : manque ustensiles de cuisines (poêle, casserole, saladier...)
Mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un très bon séjour.
