We had the most amazing time in Asheville thanks to Kat's hospitality! The treehouse is in the best location if you want to be secluded and also if you want a quick trip into town. Our GPS said downtown was 11 minutes from the cabin, but it was more like 5 minutes. We can't wait to make it back into the treehouse! Kat was a great host and very responsive to our needs. She even gave us some tips on finding a great sunset view by the treehouse :)
This was my first Airbnb experience, and it was a great one! The hillside neighborhood is very calm and secluded despite being 5 minutes from downtown Asheville. Kat's home is cozy and perfect for a couple's getaway or a small group of friends. I would recommend this host and house to anyone looking for a mountain getaway.
The place is in a wonderful location. We visited weekend after Memorial Day and weather was great. It is just couple of miles away from the downtown but elevation makes it a longer drive. The rooms were neat and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed our stay.
The house was in a perfect location for our stay. Pretty area.
Kat was very welcoming in our email exchanges. The apartment was as described in the posting; it was very clean, with plenty of towels and kitchen basics. We knew the neighborhood from previous visits to Asheville, so there were no surprises there. All in all, we were delighted with our choice.
What a delightful experience staying in Kat's round home treehouse! The place had such an open and spacious feel and I loved how it was in the woods, yet also very close to Asheville's downtown area. We were so delighted with her home that we are hoping to come back for a second stay in the future!
