Check In
  • Our stay on Pamela's boat was a great experience. We arrived on the dock late in the evening, but Pamela had provided instructions to make our "check in" smooth and pleasant. Breakfast for two days was awaiting us in a picnic basket on the boat. And since our stay was in late September, she also left us a space heater. The boat was clean and homey, and linens and towels were provided. All in all, this is an excellent option if you are looking for accommodations in Ithaca.

  • Pamela was very accommodating and provided everything we could need. The harbor felt very safe and welcoming. My one complaint would be that $80/night felt a little expensive considering the long walk to the bathroom. All in all, our stay was a wonderful experience!

  • The boat and breakfast was just what we expected. Pam was very helpful. The weather was not so good, the experience would have been perfect if it was warmer.

  • We stayed at Pamela's boat for the evening. What a treat! It was perfect for what we were looking for.. Minutes out of town to go into for dinner but to go back and sleep in the quiet marina. The rain that night lulled us into a peaceful sleep until the morning; where we had a lovely and nutritious Scandanavian inspired breakfast supplied by the host. It was such a wonderful experience. Rustic enough to speak to our adventurious side but with all the details of comforts supplied by our gracious host. It was a short 3o minute drive to Watkins Glen where we continued our adventure. Thank you for a restful stay. We will be back...

  • I've stayed on Pamela's boat a couple of times and really enjoy the alternative to the hotels in town. We are back and forth to Ithaca periodically and the first place I look to stay is here. Pamela provides a lovely breakfast and has been a most gracious host!

  • We had a wonderful stay on Pamela's sail boat. We were disappointed to not be able to go out for a sail due to a motor problem, but otherwise everything was great. The marina was clean, quiet & well lit; the bath house was close by & well kept. The surrounding park area was lovely with bike & walking trails. Our first morning we awoke to fresh coffee, fruit, bagels & cream cheese waiting for us on deck.
Pamela & her family were very welcoming & gracious.

  • Pamela was a lovely host and very friendly. She gave us a thorough tour of the boat and where everything was in it - I just wish I had of checked how to use the little stove top to boil our eggs in the morning! Pamela had advised us to call at any time if we had any questions or concerns but we were too embarrassed to call about cooking eggs! It is a cosy little boat and the perfect size for the 3 of us for 1 night. The toilet etc wasn't hooked up so we had to use the nearby washroom amenities, they were really clean and I had a fantastic hot shower. The boat wasn't the fanciest compared to others at the pier but it had a lot of character and it was a really cool experience, I would recommend you try it! If I'm ever back in the area I would pick this option for accommodation!

  • Kendal was very nice and ablle to make our stay comfortable despite the water pump being broken. Our children were very excited to sleep on the boat and slept comfortably and soundly much to our relief! Breakfast in the morning was perfect for both kids and adults and was much appreciated. An outing on the boat will be left for our next stay...
