Staying with Megan was like staying with family. She, her dog Nia, and her house are all adorable. She bent over backward to make us feel welcome and comfortable. From the daily smoothies to yummy breakfast and helping us find restaurants for dinner, Megan was delightful and we'd definitely stay with her again!
Megan was warm and welcoming from the beginning. She is extremely considerate of her guests, even pointing out dining "hot spots" and recreational activities in the area. Being so close to Bush Park and Lifesource is a big plus as well of this location. Pictures of place are true to life. Bed and bath very comfortable with ample closet space. Would definitely recommend Megan as a host and her home as a fantastic place to stay!
Megan's guest space is a very comfortable and private arrangement with a pair of rooms and 1/2 bath upstairs. The neighborhood is quiet and safe with easy access to town. The beds and comforters are so deluxe that I hated to leave, and Megan is the perfect b&b host: Quick responder to email questions, Interesting and friendly person with a lot of travel smarts, lovely taste in art and decor and a sweet, sweet dog. Appreciated her healthy smoothies, toast and coffee no matter what my morning schedule was. . .Megan's house made staying in Salem feel like home thanks in part to the her welcoming nature, attention to details and perfectly suited home and garden. Perfect experience!
Megan's home is warm and friendly. The bedroom has a vintage charm and simplicity that evokes peace and restfullness. It is handy to have use of a small refrig. in an adjoining rm.True to the other reviews-Megans dog is a GEM! Such a sweet, gentle, girl who rarely barks. I enjoyed the location because it is so close to several Natural food stores, Cafe Yumm, Panera, French Press, and other healthy eateries! Megan's talents are varied and diverse-evidenced by her tasteful decorating and her superb culinary fare (The infamous morning shake she provides) Her vast knowledge in the Health,Arts and Sciences makes for interseting conversations! I plan on staying again with Megan, even though the shower being downstairs is somewhat inconvenient. (as others have mentioned she works with you to coordinate this) Did I mention the view she has from her Living room? Beautiful!
We had a great time staying with Megan again--it's like coming to stay with an old friend. She is a real sweetheart and extremely flexible. She allowed us to come and go as we pleased and was a delight to talk to each time our paths crossed.
I had a wonderful time staying at Megan's charming home. She was a wonderful host to both myself and my ten year old boy. She was most gracious, and the healthy morning smoothies were a delightful start to the day. The rooms were cozy and we felt very much at home. I recommend Megan's place to all seeking a delightful stay in Salem.
