You’ll enjoy water fun for the whole family, huge back deck with dining for 8, an outdoor lounge area, and fire pit near the water.

You can leisurely cook a multi-course dinner in the open concept chef’s kitchen, fully equipped with cooking tools, pots, pans, etc. Light a fire in the bonfire pit and enjoy the company of friends and family around the fire as you hear the waves of Lake Michigan lapping on the shore. Relax with your morning coffee and a stunning sunrise view through floor to ceiling windows as you start your day.

While the cabin will sleep 8 comfortably, we may be able to accommodate up to 9 with 1 extra cot

The Clay Banks Lake House is also an easy hour drive away to world-class golf and spa facilities at Kohler and Whistling Straights and a short drive from numerous restaurants, charming Wisconsin small towns, state parks, large sandy beaches, apple orchards, and sledding hills. The perfect year-round getaway.

Right near Clay Banks Lake House, you can take the charter fishing trip of a lifetime on Lake Michigan, stroll the beautiful beach and boardwalk, relax with a glass of wine from a historic winery or spend the day shopping and sightseeing together. We call the Twin Cities home, however often find ourselves retreating to a quieter pace of life in Door County. The Clay Banks Lake House is lovingly designed with guests in mind and filled with luxury details rarely found in vacation rentals. Architect built, it's filled with original design touches, local art, tasteful and comfortable furniture throughout, and all of the luxurious amenities to make for an incredible stay with us. We are so honored to host you. We have focused on the small details of a bottle of wine waiting for you at check-in, luxury toiletries, fully stacked wood for fires right on the lakeshore of Lake Michigan - striving to give guests a boutique hotel-like experience in the comfort of our beautiful home. We hope you'll join us! During your stay, the house is entirely yours but we are easily reachable anytime by phone, text, or email.
