  • Really love the stay @Babibu garden room even though it was only for 1 night; the open air bathroom was terrific. Lying down on the couch by the common sitting area was surreal and absolutely relaxing. Housekeeper was very helpful and assisted us readily with our requests. I would love to return back again! Thanks Augry for being so fast in responding to all my queries. Do consider renting motorbike to move about.

  • Staying here was a great experience, having two different rooms because we booked 2 extra nights. We stayed in the Brick room and Garden Room, both unique and peaceful. The only major difference is the outside bathroom. The house itself is just amazing, we enjoyed the garden,
the pool and outside kitchen. The help (Ketut) helped us with whatever we needed and a personal driver was arranged without a hitch. Augry, Ketut and "Easy" were patient with us and provided everything we could wish for. The house is located in a remote area (+20 min from Kuta by car), but this is perfect if your looking for a peaceful and quiet retreat. There is a little market and pharmacy just around the corner and restaurants deliver whatever you like for a reasonable fee!

We would definitely like to return here!

  • Villa BaBiBu is a very beautiful place. The area is designed very well and the furniture is chosen with exquisite taste.
Me and my baby girl checked into the garden room. The room is beautiful but can be quite dark during the day. But usually you don't hang out in the room during the day. The open bathroom is spacious. During rainy season it might be difficult to reach the toilet without getting wet. One night the baby was stung by mosquitos and as there is no mosquito net in the room Augry advised to change rooms. So we moved to the Gebyok room. This was perfect for us as we experienced more privacy and the room offers more daylight to come in (with a baby you need to spend time for resting in the room). In the morning hours it is a little bit noisier in Gebyok Room than in the Garden Room as you can hear noise from a school and the main road is just around the corner. But as the beds are one of the most comfortable ones in Bali I am sure everyone will find a good sleep.
The staff is friendly and helpful at every moment.
The location of the Villa is quite good as you can reach several beaches within 15 min. But as there are no Restaurants in walking distance it is the best to rent motorbikes. Otherwise you will depend on Taxi.
Augry is a lovely host. The communication was easy and quick. I can definitely recommend to stay at Villa BaBiBu.

  • Wow! We sent the request to stay there on our way to the airport, which is about 4 hours before our arrival in Bali. It would be a hassle had Augry didn't reply since she had 24 hours to do that. We were the only guests that night so it felt like we had the whole villa just for us. Mbok Ketut and Bli Ketut were so nice and they took good care of us on our stay. We left a charger there and they kept it safe and we just went back there to pick it up even though there were no one there. Nice place, nice hosts!

  • We only stayed one night at Villa Babibu but is was amazing. This is one of the most beautiful and peaceful villas I have ever seen in Asia. We stayed in the garden room. The bed is one if the best I've ever tried. The open air bathroom is a real treat. The decoration is balinese with a modern twist.
Ketut was really helpful and helped us when we needed her.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I hope I'll have the opportunity to come back longer at Villa Babibu, a little paradise.

  • Great paradise villa, very authentic and beautiful! Clean rooms, amazing open air bathroom! Location is in 15 minutes drive to seminyak and canggu. Not many cafe around, but supermarket is in 5 minutes walk.
One thing - all prices what can advice Ketut(host) is higher than it is (bikes, transport, travels).
But will recommend it as a very beautiful and peaceful place. Terema kasih!

  • Villa Babibu is a nice place to start a stay on bali, and overcoming a jet-leg. This place is a little walled paradise in the middle of chaotic and busy kuta. The fact thay there is no breakfast included is not very practical,as the closest place to have a breakfast is quiet a walk. But apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. Feauture guests certainly should try the small local warung across the supermarket. Really good and very cheap!
And ofcourse we should mentiyon that we got really inspired by the beautiful open air bathroom. Wish we could have one like that at home!

  • Where does one begin with Villa Babibu! It's an absolute gem. Be warned though, you may never want to leave the villa to explore the rest of Bali.

The Villa is absolutely beautiful and feels like home. Ever smiling Bu Ketut is always there to help (even if you get lost on the way back at 3am and need to call her up to give your taxi directions). The on standby driver-Wayan, is very helpful and so friendly! Bu Ketut will help you order in food if you're too tired to get out, and order you taxis to wherever you have to go. About the only downside is the distance to main Kuta and Seminyak(about 20 minutes in peak traffic) but the tranquility of the Villa more than compensates for it.

We stayed in the garden room with a beautiful open air bathroom all pebbles and delicately Balinese furniture. We visited friends in another villa in Seminyak and it did not come close to the peace and beauty of Babibu. My only regret is that we stayed only one week. Augry is an amazing host and is very easily reachable and prompt with any request you may have. Overall, you really feel at home. I would go back here over and over again. It's absolutely amazing!

  • We stayed for a week and rented the whole villa for our family. The villa was exactly as we expected it. We simply love the peaceful garden, it was beautiful with plenty of leafy trees, but enough sunshine to go through too.
The rooms are cozy, with high quality bedding and sheets, and the bathrooms are awesome!
The Garden Room has an open-roof bathroom. The room also has a direct view to the pool, when you open the room's sliding door curtains.
We also love the reading room, which is all-window and air conditioned just in case you want to cool down while enjoying the view of the garden.
Even though we didn't meet Augry, we were very happy that she made sure everything was in place and texted us to make sure we find everything OK.
Bu Ketut and Pak Ketut were really helpful throughout, we couldn't expect anything more. Pak Wayan, our driver, which Augry recommended, was very knowledgable and also very patient with our frequent travel plan changes.
Our kids love the swimming pool, although we couldn't spend enough time in it, since we wanted to see Bali too :)

I and my husbang live in Jakarta. We both like to travel, and Bali is our favorite. We dream to spend our old age in Bali. So, last year, we bought a small villa in Bali. It is a love at a first sight. The balinese style villa, the quiet surroundings inspite the location is near to city. Since we are not live in Bali, we need the villa to "(email hidden)" every single time (we do have 2 housekeepers stay at the villa), so we are very welcome to people around the world to visit Bali and stay at our villa. We also like to dive, we like to eat, we like to hanging out with friends, we love dogs.. Bali provide it all! Yes, we love Bali.
