Villa Ersi is a traditional Cephalonian villa with a modern, village-chic twist. With sweeping panoramic views of the Ionian Sea, nearby islands, and pine covered mountains, you can lounge the day away and watch the sunset from your private, heated infinity pool.

This recently completed (summer 2012) luxury villa offers three large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (including an advanced septic system - yes, you can flush the lavatory paper!). A fourth WC just off of the living space, large living room, and dine-in kitchen create the perfect space for entertaining and lounging in 158 square meters of living space. Modern decor, and a state of the art kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops afford all the amenities of a home away from home.

Outside, the villa's architecture follows the lines and dimensions of a traditional neoclassical Cephalonian home. The villa has its own private gated entrance with ample parking on a large driveway. A private 43 square meter, heated, infinity pool, sun beds, umbrellas, BBQ and outdoor dining can be enjoyed in an additional 80 square meters of outdoor entertaining space.

Located outside the village of Sarlata, and just under ten minutes outside of Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia, Villa Ersi is a short driving distance to the island's most beautiful beaches.

Our second stay at Villa Ersi. As with the previous review, the house is lovely and the children thoroughly enjoyed the pool and terrace outside. All was immaculately clean and Angela (the property manager) was on hand with restaurant recommendations and anything else we needed. I would definitely recommend Villa Ersi and we will be back :)

Couldn't fault the villa in the slightest. Fantastic location for the airport, beach and Argostoli. There was everything you could possibly need and it felt more like a home than a holiday rental. Wonderful pool and the view out to sea just topped it off! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I Can't begin to describe how lovely this house is. We have stayed in many lovely villas over the years but this one tops them all. Amazingly stylish and comfortable, everything has been thought of. This is not a bland holiday let but a real home with beautiful furnishings and well thought out details. Comfortable beds with top class linens, lovely bathrooms, efficient air con, well equiped kitchen, the list goes on. We loved the outdoor space and pool area with so many different seating areas and the view is amazing. There was always something to watch out at sea and the handy binoculars were useful. We enjoyed watching the planes coming in below us (far enough away for it not to be noisy) and when some of our party arrived after us, we were able to watch their plane come in before popping down to the airport to pick them up. The house is in a quiet residential area and Julies turn by turn instructions from the airport worked perfectly along with the entry arrangements. You do need to have a car here. The property manager, Angela, popped in shortly afer we arrived to provide us with some useful information about the area etc and was on hand to deal with any problems or questions throughout our stay. There was a thoughtful welcome pack of bread, honey, milk, tea, coffee etc and washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, detergent etc were all there too. All very useful. Thank you Julie. We are already plotting our return.

Wonderful week spent at Villa Ersi in June 2016. Only a 10-15min drive to the airport yet when you're there, you feel alone in the world. Magnificient views from every room in the house. Beautiful pool and lovely garden too. We loved everything about Villa Ersi and Kefalonia and would go back in an instant. Also, hired Chef Viva for dinner one night and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend Casa Grec in Argostoli for a a nice dinner out. Thank you Julie!

We stayed at Villa Ersi for a wonderful week during mid June 2016 and we were delighted to find that it exceeded our expectations! Julie was a pleasure to deal with and was always happy to help. The villa is beautiful with the most amazing views. It made us smile every morning and was hard to tear ourselves away. We could have happily spent the whole week lying by the infinity pool and making full use of the BBQ! The Villa Manager Angela came to see us on our first day and gave us plenty of tips, when we finally managed to pull ourselves away from the pool we enjoyed exploring the beautiful island, we visited Agostoli and would highly recommend Greka restaurant. We also had the pleasure of seeing Myrtos Beach and watched the sunset at Pettani Beach. Lovely! We stocked up on essentials at Lidl which is a 5 minute drive away. You can either take a taxi to do this or we would recommend hiring a car if you want to explore, we used Greek Stones and we were really pleased with the service. We also had a lovely meal cooked for us at the villa by the personal chef Viva - the menu is at the Villa. Viva was lovely and so was the food, there was plenty to choose from and plenty to eat! It lasted us for lunch and dinner the next day! Just be sure to book early as it seems that they can get booked up pretty quickly! Julie has a blog on the website and I would recommend reading this as Julie nicely sets out plenty of sites to see and things to do! We are certainly hoping to return, we had a wonderful week and would highly recommend Villa Ersi!

I had conversations with the host Julie before the trip, which were answered quickly and friendly fashion. We we met at the house by Angela who was very helpful and full of local knowledge and tips. The directions to the house were perfect and it was ten minute drive from the airport via very quiet roads. There was milk bread butter and honey in the house, which was great for a quick snack before going out to do supermarket shop (which was also about ten mins away).
