Welcome! This is our sunroom, the more informal of three spaces available for rent in the house. There are two hammocks and two mattresses. The house has a huge roof deck available for everyone to enjoy, as well as two other outdoor areas!
**Note: Please message me before requesting a reservation so I can answer all your questions!**
Our house is three floors. On the first floor is a suite, the second has two bedrooms, and the third is the covered roof deck, which is well ventilated and has a small view to the city. Let's start there: from the terrace you'll enjoy a view of the city, and can use the grill or anything else you'd like. We also have an extra stove up here for making tea, etc. You can also hang, have dinner, stretch, exercise, knock yourself out! Please note that the access to the terrace is through our bedroom, which we keep open almost all day to ensure guests can access the roof.
The kitchen is small, but decked out with all the pots, pans and utensils you'll need. Fridge space and shelf space, too. We have a shelf of basic items to help guests as well, like beans, lentils, oils, etc. If you're not into cooking, you'll still love the big kitchen table in the dining area.
There are two living room spaces: one downstairs at the entrance of the house and one upstairs that sometimes serves as a room. They are both fairly breezy and have comfortable seating and hammocks.
The outdoor spaces are also really special. One small patio area opens out from the first floor, and is home to the washing machine, two bathrooms and a little garden. Storage space is also available there, should you need it. Then upstairs is the covered roof deck - the best space for hanging clothes, enjoying the view, all that.
Welcome! Our most important rule is mainly to respect the space and enjoy it. We keep a clean house, and especially a clean kitchen. We also ask not to bring anyone to the house who is not reserved through Airbnb.
Other than that - feel welcome and have fun!
Hello and welcome! I am a New Yorker, living in Salvador for the past few years now. I coordinate a bilingual language program in an elementary school on the other side of town, and have a small translation company. Fuca, my husband, is from here and works in education as well.
We love coming back to our neighborhood after work to relax, enjoy the view, cook at home and have a beer at some of the awesome bars and restaurants around. We are a low-key couple, but love getting to know our guests and getting people together in our home.
We really enjoy sharing all the places and lesser-known points of this city with our guests as well. Just let us know what you are interested in an we will try to connect you with it!
