Unique place in the heart of Rome!

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Via del Governo Vecchio, Rome, Lazio 00186, Italy

The Space

Navona Loft is a centrally located, exclusively guest house in Rome.
Rome is one of the top rated worldwide destinations, a mix of historical and modern style, art and entertaining.
Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning for more, you'll find a warm welcome from one of the most attractive town in Europe.
A bursting city where time has stopped. If you long for unhurried holidays and escaping to a relaxed and comfortable place in the very heart of Rome, then we look forward to welcoming you at Navona Loft.
Navona Loft is central, walking distance from the city treasures (remember, we have the biggest historical centre in the world), just few steps from piazza Navona.
The building (dated 1650) is set on via del Governo Vecchio, that was the connection between the Vatican and the pope residence, the Quirinal. You will appreciate Roman daily life just wandering in the neighborhood, or sitting in an outdoor café. The breakfast consists in croissant and cappuccino offered from me at the bar "Emporio della Pace" a very nice bar-library a few steps trom the Loft.
Navona Loft was originally a print work, till the 70's an art gallery and studio of the artist living here, now is a charming B&B. We kept the artistic atmosphere: it's not a common apartment, just a unique place. It is at the ground floor, bright, quiet and cool... Since it is located close to the Parliament it is a very safe nightbourhood, even late at night.
Staying at Navona Loft we have 2 suites: The Red Suite and the Sandy Suite, but for just one client. It means I'll rent the whole place to one client per time at 190 euro per night.
Both of them have a living and a private bathroom at the ground floor, the bedroom upstairs on a wood mezzanine.
Between the two there is a very well furnished kitchen with washing machine and tumble-dryer. One of them, the red has a big skylight and has more space, while the other, the sandy one, it's a bit more cosy and has normal windows.
Both of them have A.C., but it's not really necessary with thick walls. The confortable livings are provideded with TV, WI-FI connection and stereo system. In the Sandy room there is also a safe for the guests.
Upon arrival we'll give you a map of the town and we will make sure you know where everything is.
If you have any questions about Rome, restaurant, nightlife or tourist activity we will be more than happy to help.

  • We had a very nice stay in the apartment of Marco. The location is very good and from there you can walk easily to all hotspots. We enjoyed the 'Winebar' very much next to the apartment. Marco was a great host and we appreciated his hospitality. We will recommend the apartment definitely although the shower had an very poor water pressure. Besides that it was great!

  • Marco and Clara were great! They were easily accessible before and during our trip and were very helpful with things pertaining to the apartment, arranging a shuttle from the airport, recommending great restaurants, and they even helped us get our train tickets to our next destination. The apartment was very homey, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Due to the beautiful March weather, we left open some windows and were very comfortable. The apartment is located in a great part of town that is near all the major Rome attractions, but it's not in a touristy area which means the shopping and restaurants are reasonably priced and delicious! Marco even provided us with breakfast coupons for coffee and a croissant at a local cafe around the corner. I highly recommend Marco and his properties.

    Grazie Marco!

  • Warm welcome by Annamaria and Marco, who arranged everything to make our stay in Roma unforgettable.
The loft is very pleasant, with its architect design. We stayed there with our 3 daughters and were very comfortable in the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (very stiff stairs may require special attention with young kids).
Last but not least : the loft is ideally located, just a few minutes from nice and affordable restaurants, and very close to main attractions of the city.

  • Marco's apartment was fantastic and he was a gracious and very helpful host. We are a family with two teenage children and loved being in the middle of this area of Rome. We were able to walk everywhere and we're surprised how close all the main attractions were. There are also several great restaurants within a couple of minutes of the apartment.
The apartment was spacious and well equipped with the main attraction being the tasteful and eclectic pictures, furniture and objet d'art. Very secure and safe area.
We loved the breakfast bar around the corner and appreciated the breakfast coupons. Marco arranged taxis to and from the airport which removed the hassle of finding the apartment. Highly recommended. We can't wait to make a repeat trip.
Ciao Marco and grazie mille Clara!

  • My family travelled to Rome and stayed at Marco's Navona Loft for the winter break. There were five of us and we all slept very comfortably in the spacious apartment. The location was perfect and the loft had all of the necessary amenities. Marco was a phenomenal host and very attentive to detail. I would highly recommend this unique place in the heart of Rome!

  • Comfortable, characterful and great value accommodation in a perfect location - we had a fabulous stay. I'd agree with other reviews who described the stairs to the mezzanine sleeping areas as mildly treacherous, but to us that added to the charm. The layout was great for two couples, as the bedrooms and shower rooms were separated by a kitchen area. And Marco and Clara were responsive and helpful from the moment we booked to the end of our stay, even going the extra mile to organise cake and prosecco for my other half's birthday. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend to others.

  • The loft was very well located, in the heart of Rome indeed!
We were a group of five, and the apartment had ample space for all of us. Marco is a great host, he provided us with everything we needed, and had great recommendations for places to eat and to visit. Highly recommended!

  • My family and I had a very good stay at Marco's apartment. I have to say that the location is the best, virtually just steps away from the Piazza Navona and walking distance to many attractions in Rome. There are many restaurants and cafes in the area so it's bustling both in the day and the night. The apartment is shield away from the noise though so you need not worry.

Marco has been very helpful and quick to respond to our queries even before we left for our trip and he also kindly helped us to arrange transport from the airport to his apartment.

A very thoughtful touch was how he included breakfast coupons at a nearby book cafe which had a very charming atmosphere.

The apartment was small but it had just about everything we need. There are steep steps to the sleeping area so it may not be suitable for elderly folks.

I will definitely be booking this charming loft the next time I get a chance to visit Rome. Thanks Marco!
