What a kind review! Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to meet you and your husband. I apologize I gave him the grand tour before your arrival but I knew what a busy weekend you had ahead and wanted to give you space. Thank you so much for spending your time here and letting me host you. I really appreciate it. My best to you and Congratulations!

The apartment is cute and comfortable. Beth did a great job of supplying amenities above and beyond the basics, and even some little luxuries which we enjoyed very much. The property is gorgeous! It's very peaceful, but close enough to things to do to not be inconvenient. It was …

Beautiful place out in the country. We loved that we were able to bring our dogs. We paid an extra $25 cash fee for the pets but when we got to the airbnb, there was evidence of multiple other pets so we questioned where the money really goes. The "kitchen" area was dirty. Bathro…

Response from Beth:
Oh my what a horrible and dishonest review! I am not sure if I am to laugh or cry. How about we start from the beginning and tell the whole truth about this? Prior to your arrival, I sent you VERY specific instructions on directions - right down to the exact mile - check in, dog waste, etc... Nowhere in those instructions did I tell you to make a sharp left into a snow covered corn field and get stuck. I would understand if you had slid off the road, but no, you decided to literally drive through an obvious never snow plowed field. You must not have read my instructions, as that is exactly what you did. You got yourself stuck and your husband had an interview in a town some 20 miles away. We were kind enough to transport him to his appointment, no charge and deliver him in time to make that interview - you're welcome. You required to be towed out of the snow covered corn field, which you are responsible to pay for. I didn't get you stuck, you did that on your own and I provide a clear, paved driveway so this type of thing doesn't happen. However, you decided to stick me with the towing bill of $75.00 and frankly my dear, THAT is where your "refund" went, you're welcome. You wanted to check in substantially early, by 10am rather than the customary 2pm and being the host I am, I made sure this was possible. Again, you're welcome. I personally inspected and photographed in detail the premises, as I now do with all five of my properties and surprise, it was, as always immaculate. I have the photos and both you and AirBnb are welcome to see them at any time. I will also happily forward the text messages between us wherein you tell me how much you are enjoying your stay, how wonderful and beautiful the property is and how much you wish you could buy it. Those messages are readily available for your perusal as well. In regard to missing or dirty amenities, indeed the hairdryer was misplaced but nothing was dirty, not the recently steamed cleaned carpet, not the recently mopped floors, not the kitchen. Again, photos are available as I have gotten quite thorough with this business. As for the hair dryer, it turns out it had fallen into the laundry basket and was taken to the laundromat. I have the text wherein you tell me not to worry about it as it is no big deal. However, to me it was a big deal and I brought you one within 30 minutes. When you say amenities, as in plural, please define what else was missing as I am at a loss for what else is/was missing. The renters downstairs complained of your ill behaved and howling pets. Their waste left in the yard and I probably should have complained over the urine they left behind. But again, I have bigger issues to contend with. Smoke odor is another issue. The entire upstairs was professionally cleaned as way back in the year a family gathering had several persons smoking in the garage. It has not happened since and I highly doubt you smelled smoke as everything was thoroughly cleaned, steamed and disinfected. I do not smoke and I too cannot stand the odor. I can assure you, I would notice it. For the life of me, I will never comprehend how a person is so happy with something then decides to trash me on the internet. If you had a problem, any issue what so ever, I make it abundantly clear to contact me immediately and I will resolve the issue, just as I did with you being stuck, with checking in early, with the hair dryer and with paying YOUR towing bill. Why wait until you are home to write a scathing review when any matter you had could have been and was resolved instantly? To me, this review is based on the fact that I didn't refund you for the issue with the Dish satellite. Which had I done so, you would like still find some negative thing to say. It is what it is and I choose my battles, but if you want to stick me with a towing bill and THEN bad mouth me, I will stand up for myself. I didn't make a stink about the towing bill, your pets, their waste or their urine. I have far bigger issues to contend with and again, I choose my battles. You however, made up lies to try and justify your position in leaving me with your towing bill. I can only hope you are happy telling untruths about a host who went way out of her way to ensure you had a nice stay.
