This is the perfect room to relax in after a day of exploring Portland and the state. The best of the city is accessible by foot and bike (we have 2 for you!) from our home. Make your meals in our wonderful kitchen, or join us for a meal or two!
There is no better location from which to explore Portland! Nuzzled between Williams and Vancouver Avenue, everybody's favorite bike highways, you can go anywhere and everywhere by bike. Speaking of bikes, we have two for you, so don't worry about trying to fly with yours or to find a rental. We got you covered.
Mississippi District and Alberta District and the Williams Corridor are minutes away by foot. Here you'll find breweries, incredible restaurants that will make you sing odes to the brilliant chefs in Portland, galleries to inspire you, and vintage stores.
If you feel like eating in, take a stroll down to New Seasons Market to grab some local ingredients and bring it back to prepare it in our well stocked kitchen.
Hop on the bikes we have for you, and roll across the river to Powell's Bookstores.
Grab some beer from Amnesia Brewery and walk over to the Skidmore Bluffs to watch the sunset on the Tualatin Mountains and the river.
There's no shortage of ideas and possibilities from our space. If you do run out of them, we have ample books about Portland and the Pacific Northwest that you can browse. We are also tremendously fond of the city and would love to give you recommendations also!
Come back to a supremely comfortable bed and your private half bathroom. The room is comfortable and light. Rest your sore muscles after hiking on Mount Hood in this king size dream of a bed. Be careful, it is so comfortable, you might just sleep the morning away.
Two closets are available in the room if you are staying long enough to explore the area, you'll have plenty of space to organize your gear.
The room also has a little book collection that you are welcome to look at and if you fall in love, take as well!
The rest of the house is our happiest little home. Treat our home as your home during your stay. Take nice long bath, or cook a mean in the kitchen with all the local fare you pick up at the markets near by.
Our little family consists of two artists and urban farmers and two four legged cuddle monsters. We love Portland and our home and want to invite you to stay here and explore this great city!

The bedroom has a private half bath, and the full bathroom is also available for your use.
There is a washer and dryer if you'd like to freshen up during your stay.
We have a huge book collection in the living room, feel free to cuddle up on the couch (with the pup hosts, of course) and read while listening to the occasional rain drop outside.
Take the two bikes we have for you (a woman's Nishiki and a man's Schwinn) on a ride around town. See for yourself why we are consistently voted the best biking city in the country.

Our bedroom is across from yours. We are available for you if you need us, but want to give you all the privacy you'd enjoy.
You are welcome to join us for a dinner if you see us cooking or prepare yourself a meal. No worries, no pressure. We just want you to enjoy yourself.
We want to let you in on a little secret. this neighborhood, inner North Portland is the very best part of Portland. Maybe even the Pacific Northwest. Maybe even the whole world. Maybe.
North Portland is incredible. You will find everything here, history, nature, art, and food. Little urban agriculture projects are sprouting up everywhere and anyone can get some dirt under their fingernails.
The neighbors are friendly and welcoming and will gladly you tell you a story or two.
Buses run within steps from our door to take you downtown and to other parts of Portland.
The busiest bike route in the city is just around the corner. Hop on it and take tour of the city from the best transportation possible: by bike.
