No smoking property
This was my first time using airbnb and it couldn't have been better. Port Douglas is a Great place, our apartment was in a fabulous location right by the beach and at the end of the Main Street, so a very easy short walk to restaurants and shops. The apartment was a good size and very clean and tidy. Loved having two balconies. We were arriving late and seascape couldn't have made the arrangements easier, so thanks very much for that. We will probably come back to PD one day and would absolutely stay at Driftwood Mantaray again - loved it.
We knew exactly where to go and what to do, thanks to Seascape emailing prior to our arrival.
We had a two bed, two bath apartment that was really close to Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street, which has all the shops and restaurants you need for a great stay.
We were in No 5 with the afternoon sun on the balcony - this was perfect for us as we had some rainy days where we could while away our time with a Bundi and a book.
Leider entsprach die Wohnung nicht der auf den Photos, denn wir bekamen eine im Erdgeschoss und diese war sehr dunkel. Nachts schien zudem das hässlich Neon-Licht des Carports ins Schlafzimmer.
Ansonsten sehr geräumig und perfekt gelegen (wenige Gehminuten zum Strand, 10 min zum Hafen). Netter Pool.
We never got to meet the host but the front reception was very friendly and organized. The place was exactly what we were expecting, well equipped and clean. The location was amazing - in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay again.
We had an enjoyable stay in Unit 16 which was the two bedroom, two bathroom with upstairs terrace and spa bath. The room was fantastic - very spacious, clean and plenty of room for 2 couples with all the necessary amenities. The complex is in a perfect location, on the quieter end of Macrossin Street near the beach but an easy 5-10 min walk up the road to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. The two pools are small but nice, clean and refreshing.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful from arrival to checkout.
Such great value for money overall, definitely recommend!
The apartment was very big and clean and the complex is very well located beside the beach and on the main street. It was however quite dated with the kitchen appliances in particular being extremely basic. Also the wifi in the room was really poor. We had to stand at the front door to receive any signal or go to the reception area (where there was plenty).
Great location near all facilities but quiet. Friendly, attentive staff who were helpful in advising on the area. Large apartment though somewhat tired.
