I loved my stay at Deborah Lee's home. It was exactly as depicted, the instructions were clear, and the location was perfect (just a quick walk to Harvard Square). I was coming in Cambridge late in the evening, but Deborah still made arrangements for me so that I was able to access the room and gave me a quick tour. I want to thank Deborah for being so hospitable and welcoming! I appreciate it.
Deborah is a thoughtful and kind hostess. The room was clean and I found my short stay there very tranquil, comfortable, and was able to get much work done on a dissertation presentation. She is also generous about the use of her kitchen and trying her teas or coffee. Great shower and close to everything I needed to get to in Cambridge. A laundry mat and deli are just around the corner. Thank you Deborah!
Deborah is very kind. She showed me around the house when I arrived. She also prepared some food for breakfast for us. The room is nice and clean. And it's just 5 mins walk to Harvard campus and 10mins walk to the subway station.
I spent such a lovely time in Cambridge. Deborah has been very kind, helpful and discrete and all the information provided were very accurate, so I could easily settle from the very first day.
The neighborhood is very quiet and nice, especially if you have the chance to have a walk towards Harvard square.
I found the room clean and comfortable and the food for the breakfast was abundant and delicious.
Last but not least, the price is very good as compared to the alternatives in Cambridge or Boston.
Deborah was most helpful during my stay at her place. She was able to advise me about getting around in Boston, recommend where to dine as well as research for me which museum to visit. She was very hospitable making sure that we are comfortable and have enough to eat! The place was very clean and cosy. We certainly will stay with her again.
Deborah has been one of the best hosts that I’ve stayed with on AirBnB. She has a neat and cosy apartment that feels like home. She is also a very friendly and caring host, frequently engaging us in conversations about our day. On top of that, her place is a 10 min walk from Harvard so it is excellent for anyone who wants to visit the prestigious university.
About the Host, Deborah
I have lived in my house in Cambridge for nearly forty years, during which I have shared the space with family and first-floor tenants. Though my children are grown, I love my neighborhood and appreciate the sense of community. I know well the advantages of this location, and I always enjoy connecting people with historic and cultural resources. In keeping with these enthusiasms, I volunteer as a guide at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln and participate in projects at a community art center near my house.
Currently a freelance writer and editor of educational materials, I keep a home office but still have one guest room that is not used often enough. I think the room would prove to be a comfortable base for someone attending a conference or exploring the Boston area.
