Deborah was very nice and accommodating. Comfortable bed. Offered breakfast. Would recommend.
If you are searching for a place near Harvard University where you could feel like at home, look no more - you've just found it! Deborah was an amazing host, communication was easy. It's actually much better in reality than on pictures! I've stayed only for one day and wish I could stay longer.
Sorry for my late review. Deborah was really nice and the room was so comfortable. Also I like the location(near Harvard). It would be a great place if you want to visit Cambridge/Boston. I had a really great time there!
apologize for being late reviewing our excellent stay. deb was a great hostess. the place was wonderful...deb was very open to us using the whole space and welcoming our son visiting and playing cards in the kitchen...letting us borrow her shovel to dig our car out...and although freezing outside the place was warm and cozy...deb was also a wealth of information since she has lived there for 40 years...we enjoyed our conversations with her...we had a lot in common...would stay again in a heart beat. thanks again deb!!! anita
Deborah made us feel very welcome. Accommodation was as described in advertisement. The suburb Cambridge was a nice quiet location close to our needs.
Deborah was a very gracious host. She offered assistance frequently and made sure that I was comfortable. Boston had its crazy snowstorms but Deborah kept it all running smoothly. My room was cozy; her home is the perfect location.
Deborah was so very welcoming and accomodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The pictures don't really do it justice. She even had little lavender pillows on the bed! She provided several options for breakfast and use of the kitchen. Her home is very quiet and lovely. The location was perfect and within walking distance of lots of restaurants etc. I had a wonderful stay and hope to book again for my next Lesley residency.
I have lived in my house in Cambridge for nearly forty years, during which I have shared the space with family and first-floor tenants. Though my children are grown, I love my neighborhood and appreciate the sense of community. I know well the advantages of this location, and I always enjoy connecting people with historic and cultural resources. In keeping with these enthusiasms, I volunteer as a guide at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln and participate in projects at a community art center near my house.
Currently a freelance writer and editor of educational materials, I keep a home office but still have one guest room that is not used often enough. I think the room would prove to be a comfortable base for someone attending a conference or exploring the Boston area.
