Deborah is a very kind, warm and elegant lady! Her room is big, bright, tidy and comfortable! We can walk to Harvard and MIT from Deborah's home. Highly recommend!
Deborah was a very warm and welcoming host who was well-informed & offered useful tips for getting around Cambridge & Boston. She ensured the room was ready and all necessities provided & accomodated my early check-in. Description of the place is accurate, the neigbourhood was pleasant and i felt safe moving around of my own. Deborah additional provided extra fans as it was summer as well as additional table and bedside lamps which facilitated desk work & bedside reading. Premises were clean, she opened the entire floor for my use and provided a generous supply of fruit, breakfast cereals, cake & biscuits & beverages & milk. Far exceeded my expectations.
Deborah's room was perfect. She was a wonderful host as well!
If you are looking for a quiet room in a quiet house, on a quiet street...this is it! Just a short walk from the Harvard schools, it is the ideal spot to stay.
Deborah even took care of a little parking issue.
I will stay there again, when I return.
Deborah is a very good host, easy to communicate with. She is very nice and welcoming.
The room was clean, with a great collection of books!
Would definitely recommend her place.
Deborah allowed us to check-in a little early and greeted us warmly. We totally love the neighborhood which was close to everything we wanted to see and do. We appreciated Deborah's help with finding information on what we wanted to see.
Our host Deborah was extremely welcoming. Her home was beautiful in a charming neighbourhood in Cambridge. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Deborah made breakfast staples available and even lent us jackets when we wanted to go out in the rain. Easy access to transit, fabtastic host and room !
About the Host, Deborah
I have lived in my house in Cambridge for nearly forty years, during which I have shared the space with family and first-floor tenants. Though my children are grown, I love my neighborhood and appreciate the sense of community. I know well the advantages of this location, and I always enjoy connecting people with historic and cultural resources. In keeping with these enthusiasms, I volunteer as a guide at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln and participate in projects at a community art center near my house.
Currently a freelance writer and editor of educational materials, I keep a home office but still have one guest room that is not used often enough. I think the room would prove to be a comfortable base for someone attending a conference or exploring the Boston area.
