Very nice People! They got me welcome and helped me when I didn't know something.
Deirdre is a very friendly person. The house provides a good space to travel in Ireland. The room is a bit in the cold side, however they provide three blankets and making sure i am comfortable. Make sure you read the house rules.
Deirdre was a wonderful host!! She made me me feel welcomed right away and was always there when I needed sth, had a question or just wanted to chat. Her house is very nice and the location is great with good connection to the cit centre. I stayed with Deirde before getting my own place and Dublin and I couldn't have had a better start!
Deirdre and Brian were great host. Before I stepped into their home I was already made to feel welcome. The location is not far from the city centre, it's about a 10-15 min bus ride depending where you want to go. It's nice to get away from the city if you're not into the hustle and bustle. I would do a return visit. The room is spacious and you have your privacy. Great people all around. This was my first experience traveling abroad and at a B&B. it has been a great experience.
Very nice place. It was my first time using airbnb and only stayed one night but the couple was very kind and I felt very welcome. I would definitely stay there again.
This was my very first Airbnb experience, which I booked as my temporary accommodation for moving to Dublin. Deirdre and Brian were very welcoming and provided me with everything I needed, including all the information, recommendations about many things in Dublin, wireless internet and much more. There is a supermarket nearby that is almost always open (until midnight on workdays, also works quite late on Sundays).
The biggest drawback is that the apartment is quite far from the city center and the buses are very expensive and unreliable. Walking is not really an option, at least not with a lot of luggage. I would suggest using the bus 27B rather than 14 (both very close to the house), because it goes more often and has a shorter route. Also, it could happen that hot water is all used during the night, and that their dogs become disturbed during the night and start barking loudly.
This is the second time I have stayed with Deirdre. As before I had a lovely stay. Deirdre was incredibly welcoming & relaxed. I was arriving really late & it was no problem. I was made feel very much at home.
