  • This accommodation is very clean, rooms are a good size and its close to train station. The hosts were pleasant enough however this is definitely a business transaction for them. Perhaps because of this fact and the price compared to other places we've stayed in this wasn't the best air bnb experience for us . The place was very stuffy and had strong smell of cooked fish. Our room had air conditioning but we couldn't turn it on as the remote was nowhere to be found. Opening a window helped a little but then we had to deal with noise from train station below. The wifi didn't work very well in our room and keep cutting out but there was a storm so that could have been the issue? The shared bathroom was very clean and spacious but towels were very thin and were more like table cloths. Breakfast was basic but nothing overly spectacular. Ok for one night .

  • This B&B is very nice. The couple were very nice and helpful and gave us tips on what to do in Genoa. The rooms were clean and all had tv and air conditions which you need when it is 38 degrees celsius outside. Hugs from Iceland

  • This bnb was perfect! I had good clear directions from the nearby train station. Allesandro welcomed me and provided lots of information and map of genoa, a lovely seaside city with great history.
The breakfast was amazing for Italy! Cereal, bread, scrambled eggs and anything else you'd like. The room was very comfortable and bathroom clean and new.
    A lovely place to stay.

  • Paola was fantastic, as was her partner Francesco! both took time out of their day to point out the best places to see in my short stay. Details were as per the description as well as being very organised from checkin to departure! Would stay here again for sure!! I even was lucky enough to have Paola serve my eggs on toast for breakfast like at home in AUS, which i learned was not the usual Italian way!! Thanks for the memorable stay!

  • We had a good stay with Francesco and Paola. They put in a lot of effort for us. Francesco waited up late as our train was delayed by over 2 hours. The next morning we had a very nice breakfast. Paola did fried eggs and the works! Can definitely recommend staying here.

  • Paola is a kind and helpful host, happy to accommodate any special needs (she kindly made my single bed into a lovely kingsize) The rooms are tastefully furnished and have tea/coffee making facilities, a small fridge, TV and air con. The breakfast has the welcome addition of cooked eggs, ham and cheese as well as the usual Italian sweet things. The location is quite central, about 10 minutes walk from the station with the last 400 metres uphill and there are formidable stairs on entering the building. Once again Paola was quick to help by carrying one of my suitcases. The directions are actually quite explicit but due to renovation along Via de Amicis, the right side was not able to be used and the small square did not exist due to major works. Going back to the station is a lot easier. I thought that there was only one bathroom/toilet for all the guests but Paola has since told me that there are in fact, two bathrooms. it pays to ask more questions on arrival!

    Response from Paola:

The B&B have two bathrooms and one room shared the bathroom with only one room (two persons). The bathroom is always cleaned.

  • What wonderful people, my family enjoyed our stay so much!
Breakfast was amazing and very clean.
I would recommend this to anyone:)

  • The directions provided made this place easy to find and it was just a short walk from the Brignole train station. We were shown to our room right away, which was charming and included some suggestions regarding local sights and a sheet of relevant info in English. Communications in English were a little difficult, but we managed just fine. Breakfast included hot food (eggs and delicious hot chocolate or other hot beverage of your choice). Overall, it was like staying with your italian grandmother and we would definitely stay here again if we were to visit Genoa as the sights were generally walking (or busing) distance away.

He helped was with our bags and spent time showing us where we were on the map and how to get various places. The breakfast was nice . The B&B was in a very safe area and an easy walk down to the port and restaurants.
